It's nice, but reminds me too much of 2hu to be useful for my D&D mod.
I feel like the red ring makes the blue circle look like it's going into the ground though. _________________ "Don't beg for things; Do it yourself or you'll never get anything." QUICK_EDIT
As soon as the anti-aliasing into background is disabled, this will surely look horrible pixelated with all these tiny texts and details.
Or if AA is kept, it will have an ugly blue outline after SHP conversion.
So yeah, pretty useless imo and better made from scratch with textures/details that work well with sharp borders (no AA into background) _________________ SHP Artist of Twisted Insurrection: Nod buildings
hmm, i guess when the anim is supposed to look bluish, then the outline isn't that bad.
Concerning the anim, the flat plane on which the texture is drawn is pretty obvious. I would suggest using a particle system, where the particles are spawned at the textured places only, and the particles get some kind of vertical z-randomness to make the entire a bit more 3D. Inner particle movements would surely also look more like magic spell energy than a flat texture. _________________ SHP Artist of Twisted Insurrection: Nod buildings
Better be something worthwhile 'magic-ing' up because it's 37.2 seconds long in game time! Other than that, looks good. _________________ "Don't beg for things; Do it yourself or you'll never get anything." QUICK_EDIT
woah, 560 frames of that size? How big is the SHP? 30MB?
Isn't that a bit much for the old C&C engine? _________________ SHP Artist of Twisted Insurrection: Nod buildings
lol, the lengths Westwood went to make the game/assets as small as possible to run on PC's with 64 and 128MB RAM, and nowadays people stuff a single SHP of that size into the game. _________________ SHP Artist of Twisted Insurrection: Nod buildings
