Storm.Sensitive (TS logic restore)
Storm.Sensitive = boolean
Essentially weapons with this tag would not be able to be fired during an "ion storm" (Weather storm in RA2)

In TS, some units would have weapons that disable with an Ion Storm, and then would then come to use an alternate weapon. See "Eclipse Tank" for Twisted Insurrection for an example. I don't remember the ones from vainilla TS.

There were no ones in vanilla TS that did that. The IonSensitive tag that disables weapons in storms doesn't exist in YR yeah
Having every other unit have a primary weapon for the Ion Storm and a secondary one for without is much more than a "novelty", having units which have *stronger* weapons on ion storms (such as Prism beams and Tesla bolts being much stronger), having units which cannot fire on ion storms, etc. etc.
Really, this to me is a great and underappreciated feature, essentially gives you an "alternate battlefield". Not "tiny" at all, maybe in coding, but not in function. _________________
I think this would've belonged in the "Ideas & Suggestions" thread. Yes this would be a nice feature, but not every new tag needs to be different, it could just be IonSensitive and people would know what it does. Also, the reason for the period in Ares tags is because there are multiple tags required for the same logic; Just using Storm for one tag would make it StormSensitive, adding a period to everything doesn't make it cooler. _________________ "Don't beg for things; Do it yourself or you'll never get anything." QUICK_EDIT
1) You can't know if there will be more tags in the future related to the same logic. Many Ares tags started with just a couple of them and then expanded across the versions.
2) Using the period distinguishes Ares logics from Non-Ares logics and implementations.
Things like EMP had "non-period" tags in TS and got implemented only as period tags in RA2 ares.
An example of (1) would be adding a Storm.active=BOOLEAN tag; for weapons only usable during Ion Storms/Weather Storms. _________________
