Looks alright, Have you tried copying out the water ripples from Tanya/SEAL for use on the dog ones?
The drown animation could be further improved by slowly fading and shrinking whats seen when their bodies are in the water part. _________________ ~ Excelsior ~ QUICK_EDIT
I doubt if it works. I once tried changing Tanya’s Secondary Sapper to a parasite weapon so that she would appear at the center of the victim when blowing it up but then when she attacks a ship she just never respawns. It seems like if infantry unit parasites something on water it never respawns and just disappears. _________________
Looks rather fine by me. Impressive work with the water ripples.
Though I'm not sure how well this would look with the dogs "jumping" on water...
Most mods just change the Dog Weapon to be an invisible attack discarding the parasite logic afaik. Parasite does work on naval stuff though since we have stuff like giant squids. _________________ ~ Excelsior ~ QUICK_EDIT
Yep, There's even an unused projectile for the squid in the mixes still in TS Animation Palette. LimboLaunch afaik is a instant kill for infantry types. On Vehicles it will damage enemies until the unit gets repaired or it dies. _________________ ~ Excelsior ~ QUICK_EDIT

@unknown_men Thank you very much, for your effort and the fast work.
One question. With both options for
NavalTargeting=4 or 5
the dog when kills in water automatically get drown together with its enemy (and dies of course). Is it there a solution for this? QUICK_EDIT
@Atomic_Noodles, I've read whole thread but I don't understand, what even means "Ditch". However if Limbo is NO or inactive then when the dog attacks, dies on the ground too, if parasite as warhead is inactive then the dog when attacks only simply disappear. QUICK_EDIT
Since, NimoStar already bumped this 2 months ago, I'll add an onion here too:
The issues discussed here (parasite getting killed at sea, vs limbolaunch being awesome) can be overcome by separating the swimming doggies from normal doggies, making them convert into each other on transiting water/land (Ares), and changing the weapons on the swimmer doggie to either remove them, or to just be a regular bite.
