I'd just like to check here before trying anything, is it possible to have a turret on burrowing units and units like the Amphibious APC? I may be wrong, but I think I read somewhere that it's impossible on subterranean units, but I haven't a clue about APCW ones. I just need to know for two ideas in Novus Ordo. If it doesn't work, I'm sure a fixed turret'll be fine.

It's not possible for Sub units, but im not sure about the apc.

It doesn´t work with the Amphibious APC units, the unit will become invisible in water and only the turret will show.

Can it have a weapon though? You would still be able to have a non-rotating turret.

The problem is graphical, so I doubt the presence of a non-turetted weapon would change anything.

you could probably make an illusion of it working if you did a hover unit that jsut hovers really low to the ground (that is if you can make just THAT unit hover lower, i cant remember if you can)

But I want to use the APCW logic because the hover logic is being tweaked anyway. Plus it doesn't get submerged in the water, which is kinda cool.

you can give the [APC] a turret but not the [APCW] (of course cause it has no unit entry and shouldnt do either)
So basically ur amph apc will have a fully working turret, until its goes in the water where its turret will magically dissapear

it works on a devils tongue so thers no reason it shouldnt work on any other subterranean unit

But the Devil's Tongue doesn't have a turret...

If I want to have a turret on the APC/APCW logic, I'd have to give the APCW a fixed turret for it to look right?

Just a quick question along similar lines...

*Climbs out of dark hole he's been hiding in for months, blinks at the daylight*

You can only have one vehicle using that logic right (with voxels named apc and apcw) or can it be used for anything with the right code and an alternate image with a w extension?

Somebody will have to try, i think i saw two mobile emp units once (that means four units in total)... so it might be possible.
