Hey!
I can't play ROTD online. When i'm at the loadingscreen it's only mine that's loading and when it's done it says the other players connection dropped. But when i ask them they say that it's me dropping! #Mad How can this be? Anyone got any suggestions?

here are some options:
- if you're on a router activate the ports "1234" and "4000"
- deactivate the firewall(the xp one or your own one...just try it out..but the XP-one is crap anyway Wink)
- there's one firestorm map(tiberium forest or so) that is really instable

hope i could help

I'm not on a router.
I have tried to deactivate the xp firewall, but with no sucess. I also have norton antivirus installed, should I maybe deactivate that as well?
Actually I have not tried the original TS or FS online yet.

Norton seems like a good suspect.. disable it.

I tried norton as well, but it didn't work.
I can play other online games like BF and Guild Wars which requires far more better internet connection than TS. This is really srange, and I'm really longing to play.

Okay, it's working fine now! (Thanks to subXaero and some other guy) I [i]WAS[ (well, I still am)/i] on a router and this is what i did: I activated port "1234" "4000" and "8000" both as udp and tcp.

It's strange that I seem to be alone with this problem in this community, cause' I'm defenetly not the only one with a router and SP2.

Well, I hope this is of any help for anyone else with the same difficulties i had.

Yay, I can play TS online!!! Razz
