i am trying to get a list together at the moment detailing all of the units in ra1/aftermath and figuring out what i have already made that will replace what and what needs to be made that will replace what.

a lot of the old units that were made for this long ago were made much too large, like 50x50 pixels, etc. so they must be resized down to the size of RA1 tanks to prevent bleeding and flickering. because bleeding and flickering is very very annoying.

while i figure out what size i should resize these much-to-large units to and what i will make them replace, please, post ideas for units/infantry/buildings you would like to see in this conversion, especially if you have intentions of helping, big jah, general drippik, etc.

even post concept designs if you are capable, or just provide the best description you can. if i like your idea it will be implemented.

I would be glad to help but where should I begin?
For GDI and Nod will the buildings be totally new
Eg.Instead of having a power plant with upgrades
for GDI you would have an electro reactor or something?Completely different buildings from the orignal games.I can give some ideas.

For GDI;

Electro Reactor.In the shape of a square and has 4 large pylons at each side with electricity coming from them.

Barracks.Make it look similar to the soviets but
rounder and give it a shooting range or something
and a flag for the animations.

Tiberium Refinery.I have seen your design already and its VERY good.Keep it!

War factory.For the door make it open 4 ways,up,
down,left and right.It will look more interesting.

Radar.I was thinking like a large satelite dish type thing.Rotating slowly with GDI logo on it.

Tech Center.Don't really know,could have lots of small radar things on it,slowly rotating.

Air Field.I would make it quite large,with a small control tower.

Ion Cannon uplink.Just a building with a blinking antenna.

Nod Buildings

Tiberium Reactor,like a nuclear reactor,with a green glow pulsing.

Hand of Nod.Keep it as it is from TSUN.But add a flag.

War Factory.Could be like the airfeild in Return of the dawn.

Radar.Similar to the satelite but smaller and has a
small radar dish.

TechCenter.Make it like an orb building with a pulsing red glow.

Nuke Silo.Just a nuke silo.

These are very raw ideas,but I will have a look for
some good buildings or see if I can find anything
good.
P.S.If you choose any of my ideas let me see them in a screenie.

im pretty sure im going to have 3 different power plants for each side. not sure what gdi's will be. nod will have some sort of tiberium based power plant. and the mutants will just have small generators.

The Mutants could have Solar or wind.Something that is cheap but you need to buy a lot of,is that what you mean?

yeah, the generators will be very cheap and small 24x24 square most likely but you will need a lot of them to power your base.

Oh.Are you completely remaking GDI and Nod then?So will we see a titan or a wolverine?Or is it
based off the first CnC.I need more info then I will
be able to come up with more ideas.

it takes place after tiberian sun, and before tiberian twilight, but, it is like an alternate reality of what could have happened around this time. i am not adhering completely to the story lines of past cnc games and what should happen in tiberian twilight.

probably will not see titan or wolverine. i am not sure.

but i definately would like to have the mammoth mark 2.

i just need someone to make it for me.

not completely easy. it would take a lot of work. i am thinking about it but i don't know. it depends on what other units make it into the game and what do not.

it is still developing.

they are not "all done"

they would have to be resized, the cannons would have to pe pasted ontop of the legs, their colors would have to be changed so that they will be remapable in ra1, they will also have to be brightened because TS is darker than ra1, then those images will have to be matched up with one of the ants images.

so it is not exactly "all done" it would be at least a day or more worth of work to get it done.

i know you are trying to help. i have contemplated putting them in. i am just saying. it is not as easy as you think it is, if you want them to actually look good ingame i mean... cause you COULD just slap them together real fast and have them in there but they would probably look like shit.

If you did it really fast you would have pallet problems and some other problems
