TS folder messed up ?!?

here is the solution:

a shell scrip for cleaning the TS directory!

(it wouldnt work with FS, if you use it and have FS installed, it would terminate itself)

this script will all not needed things in your TS directory save and, if you want to, delete.
it also creates a log where you can see which files were removed and, if you havnt deleted it, you can recover them!

use to your own risk

filecleaner.zip

put the "filecleaner" folder in your TS directory. and yes, ive tested it and it worked fine!

the problem is that i havnt got FS, if somebody would give me a list of all FS files ill add an FS support to my script...

I like it. Now, what mess it did:
1.It deleted sun.ini- the configs
2.It deleted maps01.mix, maps02.mix, movies01.mix, movies02.mix (Are these stuff in tibsun.mix?, cuz in my ra2 they are in ra2.mix)
3.It deleted license.txt
4.It deleted scores.mix (is this in tibsun.mix?)
5.It deleted RandMap.img

Some are remade by the game, but some not.

just for this case, ther is "use to your own risk" in the title AND the backup_dir! every "deleted" file was moved to this folder. if you need to, here you can recover them and you can change the script by yourself!

and as the name said, it removes everything what isnt needed, you can still play the game

Well, the files it deleted were necessary for my game, but those necessary files should have been in tibsun.mix. RAZOR1911, YOU SUCK!!!

Havoc, none of those are in TIBSUN.mix.

Scores.mix is in you TS folder, Maps01,Movies01, Maps02, Movies02 are all on your GDI/Nod discs, respectivly.

What the hell is "license.txt"? sun.ini nis still in your local.mix.

Fucked up game. That's what I have. Maps01,Movies01, Maps02, Movies02.mix are in my ts folder cuz the cds were ripped. License.txt is the license from the ts installer I guess. I'll try to re-edit your script Worm for the possesors of the cracked game, if it's ok.

Hmm, it`ll be hard now. I didn't play with *.bat files for a long time and I kinda forgot...I'll remember fast.

ok, i have got a new version.

i tested it, as long as you dont have a cracked game (ure listening, havoc Wink

) and and dont have FS installed, it works fine.

and remember, files were backuped.

(if anyone can PM me a list of all FS files, i would add an FS support)
