I'm playing HalfLife 2, and I'm at the Hydroelectric Dam, right before Black Mesa East..

Then the game has an error saying something like 'Error in internal drive' or some such crap.

Then I get 'hl2.exe has had an error and Windows had to close it' or somthing very similar.

WTF!?

Reinstall the game and if it happens again, reinstall Windows.

F-Disk your whole comp. The problem may not be that big, but F-Disking ALWAYS works.
