I've never played Renegade (don't freak out), so I don't know about its visceroid, and I don't remember what the TD visceroid was like, so I'm voting for the TS one. _________________
renegade has quite stupid, looks like pile of turd that chases you and then pukes some crap on you
TD has simmiliar just another angle :p
while TS has real mutated lifeform =)
shame they didnt made 3rd stage of bind
so if 2 large visceroids bind that lifeform becomes some

The real visceroid is the TD one, as it was the first one. As for my opinoin on them...
They're all pretty damn nasty; TD one farts green shit on it's enemys, the Renegade one also farts out green shit, but the Renegade one has an eye and a mouth and tentacles, and the TS one has hot, steamy sex with it's enemys.
lol. If you were to be one of the Visceroids, which one would you be? _________________ Destroy to create. All for the hunt to dominate!
TD: Original, shoots out wierd looking.. green.. clouds.. nasty.. not a huge challenge, but something best left for your M1A2s or M2A2s..
REN: Wierder than hell.. shoots out green sprays, but not at all hard, one shotgun shell at medium/close range will kill it..
TS: Definitely the best, it's doesn't shoot out chemicals, rather, as DoMoNiC pointed out, 'has hot, steamy sex with its enemies' *perv*.. and now you need some heavy firepower if you wanna kill it quickly, especially in a Tiberium field..

They're all real. Visceroids evolve, TD/Renegade could fire tiberium gas, while in TS they evolved and became much bigger, so they could simple engulf smaller life forms.
On a side note, does anyone have a picture of the visceroid from that 'genesis pit' styled cutscene from TD? I think there was one there, anyway. _________________

No... But I have the cutscene in xvid format.
Oddly the Cutscene shows ones most stylistically linked to the TS ones, unless of course they are not actually visceroids but some other oozing blob of matter seeming to dash across the video view. Also seems to show Veins, a veinhole monster's mouth and blue tiberium tree.
So I shall actually vote now... the TS one is the real one, as is the TD Cutscene version. QUICK_EDIT
I liked the Ren's 'version', to bad its low poly...but its quite a frightful beast, when I first saw it I was definately surprised at how gruesome it was...and its true that the visceriod is an 'evolution', although its curious to see the gas spray gene go extinct.
as a Sidenote, when I first heard about the Visceriod while playing TD, I expected something like a cyborg commando that would simply obliterate even the most savvy commander....I didn't know how to react when I first caught a glimpse of the liver blob. =P
Oh btw In some of the preview trailers either on the TD or RA1 discs, I think it was Lands of Lore. it depiched a Visceroid like creature blobbing about.?

It does look identical to the in game version of TD - Perhaps it was made for Lands Of Lore and made into a TD version at the last minute? (Due to it's lack of actual coverage by the main game..)

They just used the gfx from that lands of lore movie for the visceroid icon in Sole Survivor.
That's all... the icon wasn't even in C&C95. But it was used in some mods and became known through that.
I'm a rogue Sectopod I was the first to be captured using stun weaponry and glitches in the game. After some re-programming back at an X-Com base I broke out. Not even the Brain, or the Ethereals, or even X-Com can catch me. I'm still at large.
As for that Visceroid.. LMAO It looks like it farts on enemies. Must be Tiberium indegestion, or bowel problems. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

oh god, I just caught that eyebal kinda floatin in that blob.
About the Ren blob, it noticed there is two skins for it, one is this lame-nothin-special-skin, the other is the skin with the eyes and mouth. for some rteason when i play ren it uses the lame skin. It is actually kinda creepy if it uses the cool skin and you walk around a corner and there it is.
The TS one is harder to kill because it is a "fast little sucker". yeah, so we can't really see indepth view of the viceroid in TS, probably look slike the ren one.
so in the end, the Rend one looks like the realistic one, but the viceroid attack in ts is teh reall , (probably because they couldn't do melee attack in ren) _________________ QUICK_EDIT

dude, that trailer first appeared in Red Alert 1... long after TD was made.

I voted for TS, because I've never seen a visceroid in TD and I have played Renegade, but the game was too shit on my computer... trouble with compatibility??? _________________

The TS and TD visceroids are the same thing, but different colors. The renegade one looks like a giant slug...It dosen't even deserve to be called a visceroid, but a Tiberium Slug instead...as for the TS and TD ones, they are a big blob of a strange rapidly engulfing liquid...how could a human even possibly turn into one of these? ESPECIALLY immediately after dying by tiberium...
Anyways, the TS one is by far the best, about 5 of them unleashed on the enemy gives you an easy way to win.
