Laughing...wow...has it been that long?

.....Well now, I finally got to crack open my .Ini's, edited some minor things, I think I've hit that 100 unit bug thing?, since the AI, its bent on mass producing a particular infantrytype...and its only with the Nod AI...

I am wondering what are the causes and how to prevent it.

I know this a common error, I did a search and oddly got nothing relevent to what I was looking for. So hear I am. Woot.

I like the fact that they produce the same thing over and over; it makes for entertaining slaughter (Is that redundant?)! Very Happy I don't know what causes it or how to prevent it, though.

I read some solution over at ModEnc. It was about to put all BUILDABLE units ABOVE 100 and put all NON-BUILDABLE units FROM 100. So you simply need to renumber everything in [InfantryTypes]

- Sevelys.

More precisely, the article you're looking for is here.
However, only Nod AI and not GDI AI as well triggering it doe sound odd to me, but then again, I'm more used to RA2/YR modding, and it's possible this is how the bug manifestates itself in TS.

Ah, the RA2 Pimpscript. Every mod morphs him in some way to use him in TS. He's so versatile. like the SEALs.

I hate that bug, esp. when Nod builds so many Cyborgs it clogs their base and they can't attack you until you destroy so many of their buildings they sell the rest and you get rushed with ninety Cyborgs and three Light Infantry.  I've never had that prob with any of my mods, though.

I'd WANT to get rushed like that! Very Happy Conscript genocide!

Either that's mixed SEALs and Conscripts or it's a mixed SEAL & Conscript SHP..

Cuz there's at least on SEAL there..

Yes, its the "ÜberScript!" and the Seal...In a gray scheme.

Which the SEAL, reminds me of the C&C minigunner more than anything =P

Thanks DCoder for the clarification!

The odd thing about this, is my infantry/vehicle lists  are no where near being over hundred....unless it adds both lists?...Rules.ini and Firestrm.ini. Which I doubt it...since Still they dont both add up close to 100...

Alright, I don't mind, however they are the primordial appendages of my project, which is quite dear to me. Wink

Don't worry, I won't share them with other people, if that is what bothers you. Just PM them to me (archived) and I'll try to see wht the problem is.

Using an example from a flash animation, being redundant (and it is redundant) would be calling a command center from StarCraft a "Central Center".  Basically it's saying the same thing twice, of which you were not redundant (Sir Modsalot).

Hmmm, I've never seen so many units in one part of the screen.  Except for one mission in FS I think were Cabal keeps getting Cyborg reinforcements via Sub-APC's.  That was an annoying mission...

BTW, what's the difference between the surprised  Surprised  and shocked   Shocked smileys?

Um... wow. Thanks for the enlightenment, and the difference between those smileys is how many times the eyes bug in and out (though it's extremely hard to tell). Has anyone fixed the bug yet? This topic has just been sitting here since... you know when, and DCoder requested the code be PMed to him so he could see if he could fix it. Did this ever happen?
