I've done some great progress with the OS SHP Builder 3.35 today and it might get released soon*. This new version will have some bug fixes and one very special feature... something I haven't seen in 10 years... can you guess?

Check it out the features here: http://www.ppmsite.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10380

Maybe you might be able to find some tips about this killer surprise feature there. Unfortunatelly, I can't post screenshots, otherwise it kills the surprise.

I hope it's one day. There are few things to be done, but I don't have an efficient crystall ball.

LOL Laughing

Edit:

Have you tried hitting your crystall ball on the side like you would with an old TV that wasn't coming in clearly?

And you could always release it to the UPHPS Updater in advance. Wink

Hmmm... I think being able to draw the SHP from more than 1 angle would be a good addition. It might alow u to catch mistakes before its in-game

If its something to do with 10 years ago, then its possibly something to do with older shp formats working in shp builder ( I don't think they currently do ). So if shp builder can read older shps there may be functions to edit them ( like change frames so they don't face anti clockwise ). Just a wild wild guess.

And how exactly is that harder than drawing buildings that go from NW to SE? Rolling Eyes

I hope its support for the other terrain types, at the minute afaik only temperate, snow and desert work in it, making editing lunar terrain more difficult (convert to .tem, then fix, convert to .lun etc etc.)

I don't.

I'd like to be able to edit TD & RA .SHP files, I'm sick of having to convert my perfected Ranger, only to find that color 12 was converted to color 1..

And you can choose what palette to use for a while. It always starts with TS unittem, I'd like to be able to set it so it starts with palette.pal or some palette for RA.
