That might look very amazing, which it does, but don't get it wrong people, it's nowhere near as difficult as you might be thinking. If you know 3DS Max, you know what I'm talking about. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
Heh, too bad guys, Arikado is capable of that, but he's already on my team, or should I say our team. Maybe you guys should learn some 3D programs if you want to get stuff like that done. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

it's nice, but not that amazing... it all just pops up with rotation and translation, no stretching out to look like building up even. And to be honest, the stretching out of the original concrete foundation under the MCV looks kinda bad.
One thing I sorely miss is at least SOME part of the MCV being left in the final building somehow... it all just disappears. This is especially weird since the back of the MCV actually looks like a miniature version of the final gate it disappears in during the buildup... why not use that and stretch it out instead of making it disappear and then reappear out of the ground?

I'm talking about the animation posted by Holy_Master
Right. The thing on the back of the MCV. What happens to it? It slides off, and disappears INTO THE GROUND. Still following?
What happens then (and even before then)? Stuff starts popping out of the ground. EVERYTHING in the buildup appears out of the ground, instead of being loaded off the back of the MCV.
That's what I meant... it could be done better by actually making the stuff on the MCV transform directly into the building, instead of making it all disappear in the ground only to pop out of said ground a bit later. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
It's a good anim, and will fit into the RA2 style.. but..
In TS and RA, you can actually SEE parts from the MCV form parts of the Construction Yard..
Much more realistic, much better.. Much awesomer..
Same for the Allied MCV in RA2, it does have a part turning into the conyard. And the Yuri one a bit too. but it's just the front of the conyard if i remember correctly...
Oh, and maybe the back of that GDI mcv could simply go into a hole instead of the ground then pop out of another one, it would already be something better i think...right? QUICK_EDIT
