Olaf has released the latest XCC Mixer some weeks ago. There is absolutely no tip on what's new in this version, except that it was compiled with Visual C++ 2005 and it comes in a big package with all main XCC programs. I believe it now supports The First Decade properly, but that is just a rumour..

The package wasn't running very well on windows xp computers, so Olaf did some updates during this time. My personal experience showed that, if it complains at the lack of a certain zlib1.dll, download it from THIS LINK or even the zlib.dll that comes in the XCC DLL package as long as you rename it to zlib1.dll.

Either way, the program will run fine, except for the part that the depends on the zlib1.dll file, which is when you load and save PNG files. Once you try to view any of them, you'll receive a crash message. I still have an old copy of XCC Mixer 1.44 here, and even after the instalation of 1.45, it still loads PNG fine.

Anyway, download it at XCC Homepage or wait some days until Olaf fully fix all problems.

I was wondering when he would be updating the utilities

And this is great news maybe the Great Olaf will enlighten us about the changes he has made

I have tried to donwload them some days ago and in my PC they don't work well. I have experiences some unusual crash when the mixer scan the files of the games installed in the PC. Someone have a workaround for this problem?

I think his last update on the package was on april 2nd, so I suggest you to re-download it.

Check the second link called XCC Utilities and take your time to browse his site to read the tutorials and get the other tools.
