do sperm whales eat people?

This is intended as a serious discussion. Have there been any documented cases of digestion of humans by sperms? (besides hardcore Japanese Bukakke films or visceroids.)

they probably could if they wanted to, but the chances of someone being at a sperm whale's feeding depth is not high as people tend to be dead that far down, that's why sperm whales eat squid.

Ackon is right anyway sperm whale's also eat fish but there jaw simply can't handle something tough like a human being and beside its a whale most wales don't do that sort of thing they are more friendly than nasty and they are a mammal not a cold blooded fish like sharks

I find it odd though that orcas(except an isolated incident of a pilot whale 'playing' with a diver too roughly, and the occasional tragedy in the aquariums.) have no recorded incident of killing and eating humans in the wild, when these animals take on sharks, blue whales and large baleen whales with such brutality and cunning prowess...We'd surely be an easy object to kill, easier then a 20 foot white, or a Right whale.

Dubzac, the fact that sharks and all fish are cold blooded has nothing to do with them eating people more often then(if at all)whales. Thats like saying Apatosaurs would chase humans and stomp them all into the ground because its a big stupid dinosaur.(Though Apatosaurs are by no means smart...)

problem is Orcas are intellegent, they eat the things they know they can eat such as seals, dolphins, small baleen whales and the like. if they arent familliar with something they want to know what it is, people arent scared of whales as a rule where as all of the things they eat are, if you are used to anything smaller than you trying to escape i imagine you would be utterly mistifed by a little wierd looking thing that swims around you doing wierd things, plus things that arent scared of you tend to be things that can do nasty shit to you, perhaps they are picking up on that.

thats why i hate places like sea_world where whales are forced to do tricks for humans how whould you like it not being free its not very nice is it no wounder they do mean things in places like that people a so curel sometimes. Sad

I love whales orcas eat alot of things but humans no Laughing

Im sure Orca whales have eaten humans in the past, would be pretty easy to mistake a diver for a seal in the sea. I doubt they intended to do it though. I also doubt a sperm whale has ever eaten a or even attacked a human.
