TFD TD Help needed!

When i go to TFD and click Command & Conquer , the screen goes black and I receive an application error , that sais: "An privileged instructon was executed at address 004dd5b4. Click OK to terminate the application."
And if i go from C:/Program Files/EA Games/Coomand & Conquer The First Decade/Command & Conquer (tm) and double click the C&C95 , it starts but it sais that "Please insert the correct CD into the CD-drive"(Or something like that). All other TFD games work fine. Can anyone help me?

Oh wait I remember of having such sort of problem with CDs.
But it ain't your lucky day, I don't remember how I fixed it.

The Topic's name. TD. Well I don't know if you reinstall TFD means reinstallling everything with it...

Reinstalling TD doesn't help , so I reinstalled whole TFD. And that didn't help either.

Use the XCC shortcut installer.

It makes shortcuts of the C&C1 and RA1 games that don't ask for the CD.
The trick is to make the programs run with the "-cd." command line parameter.

Anyway, Is this WinXP you're running it on?

No , i run Windows 2000. And the XCC TFD Shortcut Installer didn't help. And where should i add the "-cd." command?

Uhh, the TFD requirements say you need XP.

Somewhere at the start is an explanation on how to enable compatibility mode on Win2000. Do that, and then reinstall TFD.

Nevermind the -cd. command, the XCC shortcut installer does that for you. You can look at the end of the Target line in the properties of the C&C1 or RA shortcuts to see how it's done.
