can unit shps(like cyborg reaper, defender, ect.) have a swiming animation? if so whats the tag, i couldint figure it out

only infantry shps can do that, by editing its sequences in the art.ini

yet you can make aquatic units, like the dolphin or squid though.

no i dont want that, i want to make my one tank(made from a shp for graphics reasons) have an amphibius mode like the apc from ts, only as a shp, but i guess i cant Sad

The Amph APC trick doesn't work in RA2/YR, to my knowledge. And no, there is no way to achieve what you want, since Westwood never used such a unit and ergo had no need for such coding.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that if the unit's section is called [APC] (or how it was called in TS, I don't mod TS), and vxls are also called like in TS, APC logic should work. Never tested it, though.

No, the APC trick only worked for vxls, not shps.

Look into the TS APC code. Vxls have to be named APC and APCW, and unit has to be [APC]. But it maybe has some more ocde in TS.

i dont think it works because i have almost the exct coding for mine and the vxls are called apc and apcw and it didint work

It only works in TS the code was removed in RA2.
