Beam cannon tank [TS]
GDI beamcannon tank. IT IS NOT FINISHED YET, i just want to hear reactions about the primary design. the only remap it currently has is on the barrel, THAT IS GOING TO CHANGE! as well as the lack of details. (except for the barrel, it should remain plain). id like someone to take an ingame screenie, as my TS doesnt work ATM. (ackron, your advice is welcome too, but do it like everyone else instead of ranting again)
id like you ppl to help a bit on where to put what kind of details.

your post is irrlevant, posting of incomplete voxels in the voxel section of the media hut is a violation of the section rules. this thread is thus misplaced and should be moved.
You are correct this should have been posted in the RA2 editing forum really but that is no reason for you to act like such a jerk Ackron. Where are the moderators when you need them! _________________

he just said you should put unfinished voxels in the media hut, which i did.
EDIT: after checking the topic is indeed in the wrong forum. i guess both RA2FREAK and i were wrong. (mod plz move) no need to bitch about it. (why does this happen only at PPM?)

What’s with all the negativity here, I’ve never seen someone get pissed from something so petty.
Well anyway the voxel is looking much better, that does seam to be a bit too much remap tho but then again I don’t like putting any remap on vxls _________________
the Remap is placed a tad oddly too, underneath details rather than ontop, highly iregular, Also just about everything is brown. tanks tend to have the occasional different coloured bit. The gun could use a few more details on the box end bit. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

OMG i asked for ingame screenies and nobody noticed i didnt upload the voxel.
@ackron: i said i would leave the gun undetailed. everything "unusual" is part of my style as i am unusual myself. that doesnt mean i dont consider every piece of advice given though.

.. but the tail fin is ratter useless since tanks don't use'em

and since when do photons have enough mass to cause noticable recoil?
well they have no "mass" in the literary meaning of the word
seeing as mass means the weight of an object at rest
and photons are never at rest
meh, i digress, emitting enough protons should get you propelled backwards just a teensy bit *if you were in space*
so, by all means, yes recoil would be near nothing
on the voxel :

i have changed it in the meantime, as when i put it ingame (TS works agian since yesterday) it was green and pink all over. (and i didnt even use the RA2 palette, it was #215 doing it)
but it didnt get to look better from it. i might change that later.
i also finally found out how i could get the barrel horizontal. (i got this brilliant idea of reading the tag list in art.ini)
