Would anyone create any random surface based on bezier curve or hermite on VXLSE III? The stuff in the picture below was something that I had to do for a homework from my university. Of course, it can be heavly improved:

Good old Hermite!
The only thing I have worked with that is closely related to those so far at uni is working out the Intensity Function of a Circular Apeture in Fraunhofer Conditions (the Weber / Bessel functions) in modern optics. How would you exactly produce a random surface out of Splines? Its just that the only thing I could think of using them for is to enhance the 'resolution' of a mesh by the use of curved edges. Do you mean that if you had some sort of suface you could make a randomly shaped object such that Splines could aid in this process. Forgive my lack of technical knowledge in this area, it just sounds interesting, and I would like to known a bit more about how your idea would work.

The surface generator is currently working in a simple way, by making one curve from the other:

For Hermite:

User chooses 3 points and four tangents. One of the points is the origin of the surface. This point has two tangents (one for each curve) and the other points have one tangent each.

I'll need to improve seriously the interface for this one, since guessing tangents is not easy, specially if you need acuracy.

For Bezier, the user chooses 5 points. One of them is the origin and will afect two curves. This one is easier to use and was used to make the curve above.

I haven't done splines, although it wouldn't be much different from the other two.
