Ladies and Gentlemen: The spotlighted voxels have a place!

The Voxels forum has been a place for a lot of cool voxels submitted by community, but we've also seen a lot of garbage over there. People posting their first voxels, voxels without normals and even those without any sense at all.

Instead of being selective, we give a chance for everyone, although we, obviously, appreciate much, much more, the great and well done voxels.

For this reason, we've started yesterday a mass operation known as 'Kidnapp the Voxels.' to separate the great from the not so great and junk. And we are now opening the Spotlighted Voxels forum!

Only the best voxels will be there. Remember that you submit the voxels at the Voxels forum and we move the best to the Spotlighted Voxels area. It's our assurance of quality for you and recognition for the best voxellers out there. Have fun!

Well I think this is a great idea, now people don't have to look between all the crap for a few good voxels.
I have to say the voxel forum whas starting to look like a "dump your shit here doesn't mather how bad it is voxel forum"

dude WTF. this is a pointless idea; the total number of all VXLs coming out per month is like 1.

I like it. There may only be 1 a month, but now you a) know if its worth looking at, or b) get a nice fluffy feeling when its deemed worth looking at.

Well if you actually checked the number of voxels already in the Spotlighted Voxels forum, you'd find quite a few.

And I'd say the number of voxels we get here (at least on average) is a lot more than just 1 a month.

Also it'll hopefully help motivate some great voxel production Very Happy

Can you give me a permission to post straight to spotlighted? I rarely post voxels, but if I do, they are of top quality. I kinda choose what to post.
