Geneticaly Engerneerd Dinosaurs
Just a word of question and completly random, is it actualy possible to patch up dinosaur dna with frog dna or any other reptile relevant to dinosaur dna structures...
If so id like my self a villoceraptor ( of course there is a chance of him savigly eating my brains when i am asleep ) but ill take him for walks regulary and let him off the lead in the park now and then . _________________ If you don't eat, you don't poo, if you don't poo, you die. QUICK_EDIT
In anycase with todays technology, no. And the dinosaurs are extinct anyway so no DNA which would constitute a full dinosaur can be found off them. _________________
Too much Jurassic Park! Most movies fall under the category of fiction... Thus, much of what is shown isn't REAL. Looks like ruptioner took the ideas too far... _________________
erm, what is wrong if he asks a question? you don't have to start bash him for that, even if the question if silly.
I think it would be interesting, and...how many of us "normal" people knows what's realy going on in all those labs & stuff? (I'm not refering to Area 51!!!) _________________

I think it's still impossible. Who's gonna be his/her mother as example? And if we can revive dinosaurs, why won't we revive other extincted animals? If this works (reviving dino's), it give a lots of ethical discussions everywhere _________________
Yea, jurassic park idea is pretty far fetched idea....
I mean how did you know what type of dinosaur is which, just by looking at random DNA sequences that never been seen before....Plus, the DNA would intermingle with other DNA, and probably be damaged by digestion and decay.
Anyways....
but in some animals, do carry the DNA sequences for vesitial parts.
Althought most of it would be rare, and to the point where it's out of the gene pool and have inverse effects.
examples would be pythons, but in some young birds, the grow small claws where their thumb would be.
And It was found that several chicken embryos did grow teeth, but that process had rendered them stillborn.
but oh well thats what science fiction leads up to...a goal. by accident or another. _________________ Delirium.. QUICK_EDIT
