Red alert is better for the fallowing resons.

Red Alert has...
-Working air transport=automatic win
-Helicoptors have spinning rotors
-Boats (yes you can have boats in tib sun but not as good as in RA)
-Iron Curtin/Chronosphere/Chronotanks
-Demolition Truck
-Fixed winged aircraft
-Spy plane
-Nuclear bombs!
-Volkov=unstopabol robot (not cyborg)
-Tonya

Tib sun has...
-Retarted pilots who cant transport people frome place to place
-Magic helicoptors flying with no rotors
-Day and night
-Money hurts infantry so how do they carry it to buy stuff?

Heavy tank rush is worse. You can get it up MUCH quicker and the tanks are faster. Also, in RA, if you made but then lost your tech centre you would keep the ability to make all the high tech stuff, as long as you kept at least one barracks, WF and Sub pen...
TS is more strategic, i i enjoy it more i think, but only at the moment because of TSD, but i do enjoy RA, a lot.

Excuse me, but what the hell has Tiberian Sun got to do with buying candy/soda at a grocery store.
That post completely fails if you were trying to be funny, I can't find another sort of logic in it.

And MR.Pokey Tib Sun has the same thing with the tech centre, if you build it you can make orca bombers. But if you sell it then you can still make the bombers as long as you keep your helipad.

I've explained to you that the Orca Transport can work and can transport infantry, while the Carryall airlifts vehicles.

idjit626 wrote:

You can have demo trucks in TS, as well, which I have also told you.

idjit626 wrote:

#1 - What does that have to do with anything? #2 - The Orcas (except maybe the Transport) technically have fixed wings.

idjit626 wrote:

TS has the (near) equivelant. 2, actually - Umagon and the Ghoststalker.

Day-to-night transitions are better than just having all-daylight scenarios. 'Nuff said.

idjit626 wrote:

Fellshyun, I believe he means that Tiberium harms most infantry here. Idjit, your point is invalid here because Tiberium isn't money. It's refined so it's worth something, and that something is what you use to buy stuff ingame.

Tiberian Sun, as it has:

1. Better graphics than RA

2. You can queue up 5 units at once, compared to a single on in RA. (Correct me if it's wrong)

3. A hovering unit.

4. Cloaking technology.

5. The Disruptor's weapon.

6. Has more varied strategies to play.

There's more to it, and I can't explain.

And Nyerguds posts ALL THE TIME at PPM.

In important topics.

Like the C&C question game.

Ontopic.. finally..

Destiny: You can cancel a unit queued by right clicking on any of the type of unit/building, a nifty feature TS.. failed to have.

Tiberian Sun. You know why...k, if you ensist:

1. It uses voxels, which makes it to look 3Dish.
2. Weapons and unit speeds balanced (RA1 light tank drives 2 times faster than a humvee?)
3. Easier, a lot easier, and more fun to mod.
4. Excelent story. Deep, and spooky. The top things I love in TS (OMG, The greek general is suffocating Stalin with a rock!!!)
5. No more time-traveling! woot
6. Yippee, I can build clone Tanyas!!! 1,000,000 Tanyas sitting next to me...sounds wonderfull? nope *pinches the dream off*
7. Kane
8. Nod
9. Tiberium
10. Umagon...erm, I mean, Ion storm!
11. CABAL!!!
12. Scrin ship...the bad thing was, that there's only the ship! no more :,(
13. Last but not least...OBELISKS!!!! ZTYP U TESLA COILS! U RUXORZZ

Quit spamming. Red Alert 1 prawns Tiberian Sun with its retro feeling of Light tanks versus Mammoth tanks. Thank you all very much.

Tiberian Sun

1. Tiberium Odyssey. 'nuff said.
2. Voxels... You can ACTUALLY have 3d stuff on a shit computer.
3. Alot easier to mod as well as alot more versatile.
4. Tiberium Universe anyone? It's original, spiffy, and quite captivating... Cold war shit.. well it's unoriginal.
5. Anything with Joseph Kucan playing as a villian is kickass.

Contradictions:
So what RA has naval units. Thanks to Morpher, so can TS.

Air transports will be pretty cool in TS, if Extended TS is finished. so RA is matched there.

TS For the win.

Oh, one thing in TS that pwns RA1 is the AI, you have time to build a base even if the AI is the hardest, unlike RA1, when the AI attacks, you're doomed, unless you like making 10 Tesla Coils and 100 A.P.
Plants...

I choose TS because:
1)It have better graphic
2)It have better engine
3)It not use code from DOS with DOS4GW
4)Have a customize INI files
5)Faster

That, I agree.

1. Yes, it's not cartoonish like RA.

2. And I agree with this too.

3. It's correct.

4. It's way better than RA's.

5. It's really fast on a XP, but on my 98, it's average. RA on XP is nowhere near TS's XP Speed!

never been a real fan of RA.its always been inferior to TD, and then TS. due to feeling. RA doesnt have as much of the C&C feeling, RA2 not at all, and generals, lets not go there. but as this is only RA and TS: its the tiberium, Nod and GDI versus boring ore, lame soviets, and noob allies. (seriously, they suck)

Some more arguements:

1. TS has repairable bridges, unlike RA.

2. RA's AI never builds Naval Units.

3. The Submarines suck.

4. The RA AI aways rushes at you.

5. Pathfinding sucks in RA.

well, if not that, they are in wrong angle. You know that you can see the back of the cliffs in RA1 or TD right? if so, every unit and building and tree should be faced straight from the top. Or then the "back" cliffs should be changed.

Calling me dustbin seems like 'needless flaming' to me, yet you can flame Idjit freely? Seems pretty backwards, imo.

IMO, I think TD is entertaining, but the idea of a full out war between NATO and the Warsaw pact is insane(ly enjoyable). TS I like, but It definatly has flaws. It was toted for its 'Dynamic' lighting, 'Weather'(Ion/Meteor storms), and voxels, all of which had pretty pathetic useage in Multiplayer. (How many maps have decent lighting in FS, honestly? I an count the maps with Ions/Meteors on my hand, and voxel debris was used only for a stupid tire. Yay for effort, Westwood!)

i dont really see any difrence between the both of the games AI.besides the fact that TS AI all ways rebuilds buildings faster and is able to rebuild another mcv quicker then you are able to destroy the weapons factory.as for RA1,they just sit there like a bump on a log, waiting to be finished off OR they just sell all the other buildings and have a usless infantry rush lol.

one thing is that both AI in TS and RA1,when first starting a game, they are always able to build 4-5 structures at the same time and also having a quick start with units.if you dont believe me,play a game with an enemy Ai right beside your base and watch him work it out.

and RA1 Ai will not just rush you right away, they give you a chance to rally your defence THEN RUSH THE SHIT.ALSO,the AI do not attack the harvester unless it is in enemy range, its possible if you just move the harvester away,it wont end up blowing up =).

now we have to start rating by story line wich no of you have done!although TS has a complex story line, its praticly the same as RA1(kinda).you rush enemy territory at the begining(a city or town),destroy enemy base at second,YOU figure out a traitor is coming in the game, you defeat the traitor and his alliace, infilltrate some crap and destroy mane base.just like that lol =).also the scenes in TS are.......well......kinda.....crapy.dont flame my ass for this but its only true.no expression is expressed lol.as for RA1,there are rainting, tantrums and PIECE OF SHIT!

okay my finaly verdict is RA1.
