Alright.. I've done some stuff to my TS.. and all of a sudden.. the Limpet Drone.. is fvcked up.

I haven't touched it.. yet it gives an IE when I build it(well.. not tested. But I got an IE crate so I'll assume so), it has the xxicon image for the cameo.. and it's just.. weird..

errr... you don't have to necessery touch the limp drone settings for it to screw up.
e.g.
I was attempting to make a mobile barracks long ago and I changed around different settings in the rules.ini and when I lunched the game: I find out that I cannot build GDI tech center (its just not there).
My suggestion would be to replace the new file with a backup. If you don't have it, or you made too much work in your recent edition. Well... try retracing your steps, or uploading the ini for someone to look into it (I'll try when I got time).

I remember something like this happening to me a while back.. had something to do with some art I added..

Hmm..

Aaand.. it was infact just art.

Dunno HOW the hell adding an e01sc01/2 .mix would screw stuff up.. but w/e..

It is because sidecXX.mix and e01scXX.mix don't have the power to overwrite files existing ordinarily in an ecacheXX.mix.

As a result, any unit/building which has a side-specific cameo (E1, Harvester, Refinery etc..) Has the cameo located only in the sidec mixes. If it has a cameo in an ecache file, it'll use that, regardless of what the sidecXX.mix / e01scXX.mix has.

The limpet drone is one of these such units. And so its cameo is particularly sensitive.

And as e01sc01/02.mix would overwrite that found in the firestorm mixes, unless you included the limpet drone cameo (and I believe the Mobile War Factory would also be affected) it'll screw up.
