Some noob questions

hello,

I´m about to create a RA2 YR camaign for my friends but I got some
Noob Problems. Would be great if some1 could help me.

1. At first: I can play a map if I name it all01umd.map and start a allied campaign. But the second map doesn´t start automatically. I named the second map all02umd.map and in the editor you can set next scenario but it still doesnt work. So what to do?

2. The second problem concerns the briefing. How to change the briefing of the original campaign? You can write something in the editor but it simply doesnt apear anywhere.

3. Is there any SIMPLE way so I can build a new Unit. I am absolutly unable to do modding. All I have is the YR rules.ini file and I can not handle it.
What would I have to do to can build for example a school bus???

hmmm.. that is it for now, it would be great if any1 could help.

I do not have experience in mapping and mission stuff, but I know something that can be answered.

If you can find the School bus's cde, you will see a TechLevel=-1. Change the -1 into 1~10.

Those are newbie problems, not noob ones. And you are a newbie, not a noob.

1. "It doesn't work". That's really descriptive. "Fix it". How's that for an answer, hmm? It's just as helpful.

2. Edit the Brief:ALL02md string.

3. "No shortcuts for the kings", you'll just have to read the ini files, most of the stuff is self explanatory if you bother to read the comments... Btw, the file should be rulesmd.ini, rules.ini is just for plain RA2.

and to my first question:
when i played the first map and won a error pops up.

in english it would be like: "Mapselection can not be initialised"

i click at ok and the first map loads again ^^
