TS problems

Well suddenly my TS stops working, it still runs, I can hear sounds except theres no display? What could be up with this?

daTS/AnthonY had this a few weeks ago.. dunno how he fixed it, had something to do with video card drivers.. dunno..

it happens randomly with me. Not so oftenly, perhaps once in 3 months...depends how much I've played or modded the game...

I've had the same issue on my girlfriend's PC (well, her dad's, actually) ... it was either some problem with DirectX, or the video drivers.

(I never found out since they'd screwed up their PC that badly with spyware & viruses that they brought it to a shop to get it fixed... #Tongue

Hah, I'm going to try the drivers and direct x now an uninstal and reinstall I think.

Update: tried new drivers, no luck I wonder if a reinstall of windows would fix it lol.

that always works, but its kind of a radical descision. shouldnt you try a reinstall of TS first?

I've done that, it dosnt display the intro video and things but it displays the main screen but you can't see any of the buttons which is odd.

u have unstall and delete the folder? I never have got this problem but reinstall the windows dont think is need. Prob whit the patch or shomting or video card. mabye the sound card can do it Confused

Its not the sound card, and ive deleted the folder and reinstalled TS about 4 times now.

do you have partitions on your HD? if so, try to install it on a different one. if not, try a different folder.

yup, i have magical powers beyond your imagination.
theres nothing i cant do with the powers of darkness.

except from getting banned if i talk about certain things again.
it seems banshee has some wierd powers too that render mine useless.
