Would you like to create your own factory of visceroids? We have an interesting news here. Someone known as djohe has posted a cool tutorial showing how to create weapons that turns enemy infantry into visceroids in Tiberian Sun. The trick was old by hardly known around, so this is your chance to learn it. Here's a snippet:

"This is a tutorial for creating particles and warheads that spawn baby visceroids from killed infantry that is not geneticaly defect from the wild ones in any way.

Its like a Mutator gun in RA2 Yuris Revenge but this one makes baby visceroids instead of Brutes out of killed infantry.

The visceroid creating effect wont work in the air like against flying jumppjets becaus its gas cloud based and gas clouds cant spawn up in the air.

Note that you can rename any weapons particles or warheads here as long as they are linked together. And its possible to use only one infantry to visceroid warhead for all the particles like I did.

The weapon damage must always be "1" or more.

He wasn't the first to use this trick. One ex-staff at PPM: Final Dawn, One Of A Kind, implemented this trick in that mod back in 2002...

Banshee your teams mod is not even released yet. I know that Final Dawn contains a Chemical Warrior but you have not released any of the coding of it. However HZMPLAYS released his discoveries on the forum.

I dont mean to make your mod look bad or anything, just want to straight it out that HZMPLAYS should have credits in the news too becaus he was the one who revealed it so I could write a tutorial on it. Very Happy

It wasn't a chemical warrior that had it implemented (although that unit would have it).. it was Nod's sniper... known as Scorpion Sniper...
