Beautiful texturing, fantastic detailing, and just the right about of remap, in the right places. I think its perfect.
Without a doubt, this is one of the best TS disruptors I have ever seen.

And yes, Chriz is definitely making his name in the voxel department, I can't wait to see more!

I am seriously surprised, how much you people like the disruptor. Shocked

To be completely honest, the voxel is quite simple, the forms are very geometrical, the color pattern has only about approx. 10 colors and the normals are simple Cube Normals, therefore actually it is a very simple model. #Tongue

The only problem were the turret and a few good looking details for the chassis Razz

@ carniwhore
i allready have resized it, this version is a bit shorter then the one i showed you on ICQ Wink

@ Muldrake
It makes me quite happy that you like it and I hope, my other voxel will not disappoint your expectations Very Happy

@ daTSchikinhed
Thats a secret... so dont tell it anyone or you may disappear from the earth....  Wink

@ Yuri 05
There still much to learn befor i would call myself "good", i am still a newb when it comes to normals and hva stuff  Embarassed

Just use cubed autonormals. And about HVA, they can be very tricky...

but you have got the talent to make exelent voxels, one reason may be that you know how to detail them so well.

HVA is simple! ive animated a mech that i made as a test once. i made the legs in 8 sections! i even animated its "toes" to adjust after the steps. Though that spider mech ackron made is impossible to animate correctly! stupid ackron mech

Heres an other TS remake. The GDI hover MLRS.
Its stil WIP, i need to add some dirt and maybe move the cockpit a bit more to the center

I'd like to it in-game. Here, the voxel looks fine, but I want to  see the potentially mind-blowing in-game.

The color: A little more metallic grey on some parts. And why is the cockpit like that?

I used dark blue for all other GDI windscreens, so i decided to use it here again  Smile

as far as i can tell it looks ok ingame, but i gues i will make the whole turret remapable.

I think the unit looks great ingame.
I, personally do not like the idea of huge amounts of remap. I think a little more could be needed, but not the whole turret as remap. Perhaps add a rectange of remap on top of each missile rack, but not too much, it'll ruin the detail and style of the unit.
But thats just my opinion, I know there are a lot of people here who love remap.

Dark Blue + GDI colour scheme = Wrong. Blue sticks out like a sore thumb on GDI schemes. Its too noticable. Doesn't 'blend' into the rest of the model.

Looks like some odd shape is stuck to the hull of the MRLS.

i allready recolored the mrls to use a diferent color for the windows. Wink

@ Muldrake

yeah, making the whole turret remapable would be a bit to much, so i only made the front part remapable Smile

those look very good!! Smile

the disruptor looks really tough! the original that came with the game looks kind of lame to me Confused .. it doesn't impose a threatening aura neither.

Your disruptor voxel has that "I'm the 1300$ GDI badass and I look like it too!"
great voxels! Smile

sweet. but, whatever you do, always include all versions of the voxels you made. other people like other versions.

Coloring isnt final, i still need to add more details and some dirt and other changes Razz

Nice but I think the bike is a tad too small, perhaps make it a bit bigger? I think you have the colouring dead on though well done.

The coloring isnt finished (i just used about 5 colors to make the basic model and the most important details), so i may make the units more black and use a grey or black cockpit Smile

Heres the next model, the Nod Rapair Vehicle.
(i may need to redo the turret)

Nice work, but I think you want to give the Repair bot a loose turret and barrel. That will make it more realistic.

Looking good, love the schemes of the units, much like the original concepts of the Nod units, which is great to see!
All of the units are shaping up nicely, looking forward to seeing more!

@ Yuri 06

The turret will be seperate, but i doubt that a seperate barrel would be noticeable... :p

Btw, has anyone found concept arts or ofical pictures from Nod artillery (the one in the cinmatics is just black without much details), the harvester, underground apc and tick tank (found some pictures, but i dont know which concept was used in the end)

I am also fixing up my old GDI units (found a lot of bugs and mistakes) and making a new mammoth tank (basec on a design made bei Golan)[/u]

Well, the only way you truly learn to back something up, is when you loose it.

The voxel looks like its coming along nicely, but needs some more detail and contrast.

And I never was a fan of the TS Stealth Tank design. I liked the one seen in the concept art, and the one developed for Renegade, love that design.

me too, but i have to admit that I started to like the TS stealth tank while remaking it - it hase a lot in common with its TD counterpart.

I may use the renegade/old TS concept for a CABAL unit oder some special unit.... If can fix that damn savegame bug...

here the final stealth tank... ingame picture will follow later
note: i seperated the turret - didn't like the idea of an hit'n'run unit without a turret...
