Ok, this mod is one being worked on by Yuri06, doughnut Arnold and Myself.

It details the events that took place during firestorm where a battle was fought on a completely different front and through to one year after firestorm.

In 2041 contact was lost with the philadelphia.

A report on the events behind this has not been released.

However specualtion would suggest they were in the middle of a far more dangerous battle than that which raged on the planet below.

This first trailer contains part of the opening cut scene.

This mod will not only match TS in that it has original 3D rendered cut scenes but....wait for it.........

We promise actors, real people in cut scenes, nobody you know mind you (we're not that good) But people with acting ability none the less.

And the game content will also meet the standards of the trailer, we arent pumping up one area of development only to slack in another.

Information on the actual game content followed by a full backstory will follow shortly, we're just finalising what content will be displayed at this stage of development.

Wrong.

Many many mods have made trailers. Most of them aren't as visual as this one, but very few have some like this.

As TruYuri said, your mod is not the only mod with a trailer. Taktics will have a trailer or two. When we get to that part of course.

Your trailer is a bit shoty. Sound effects aren't that great, that random explosion where the music cuts off was pretty horrible. The excessive use of sunburst in the title and the lack of a reason for the title to be at the bottom of the video was just wtf!? Could use quite a bit more work.

Ewww...those look like FMV graphics from way back in 1995! O_o
The scenes are ok, but make the graphics more realistic, like in TS, at least. At most, do it like in most next-gen games we currently know about... Smile

we had problems finding reasonable sounds for the trailer, like engine sounds for the alien ships, and missile bay open sounds...

oh, and...I can also remember that many mods have trailers. I'll ask Micky to edit his post.

If you wonder where all pics and new units are, don't worry. We have made lots of new things so far. Story will follow later.

Well that was nice and all. Try putting some game play in next time or else I'll just continue to not really care. Rendered scenes are useless. Try making the actual mod before pointless cutscenes.
