Saw it a day or two ago. Beautiful and sad at the same time.

Can you say "written by the PR people"? Sorry, but he was an idiot and was gonna die eventually, yet people are surprised. Why?

Also, is it just me or is she relishing the fame brought on by her dads death, look at her smile for gods sake.

...Steve Irwin was no idiot- nobody ever could handle animals the way he could, or be connected to them they way he was. Not only that, he was a good and loving father(aside from the erm...baby incident)

Simply put, he and idiot do not mix.

It is a nice speech, but it seems a big for someone her age. It must of devestated her to have lose her dad.

Steve Irwin was truly a good man. He loved wildlife more than almost anything (aside from his family). What Bindi did was very brave.. If my father was in that position, and I had to do it, I can guarentee that I'd cry... and I'm coming on 17... Bindi, I must say, has balls (metaphorically).

Meh, I guess I'm a robot then. Of course it's terrible to loose your father, or mother, but I newer watched Irwin's shows, nor where they ever shown in here. Don't ask why, coz I don't know, honestly Confused

He was a good father, and contributed tons to wild life, but I was not suprised that he had died. What he did was a dangerous job so he had a high risk of death, that eventially caught up to him.

I did not find that video sad in the slightest way, like tratos said, she seemed to be smiling while reading the letter she did not write.

[Slightly Off Topic]
I went to 6 flags Marine World a weekend ago and they had sting rays you could pet. Some kid there was petting one and said, "Crikey, it got me!" All the 25 people around the attraction looked at him with a very, very, cold look. Confused

lol those were way different times back then. Saying that in the 40s could get you killed or beaten up quite badly.
