Making a mod os, is it a good or bad thing?
good: everyone can make changes/fix bugs THEMSELF and then post it in a forum/topic
Much more updates and much more replases
bad: can F-F-FAST turn into usles-f***ing crap
When "noobs" try to code, and sadly newbe coding...

SO: is it an good or bad idea? If so, I'll make a OS mod, RIGHT NOW! Very Happy

Set up a forum with a setup system. Where only one person can update at a time, they have like a week max to make there updates and upload for the next person to take. the less time than a week they take, the quicker they can get "back in line" to mod it more. that way there arent 349 versions floating around. could be interesting

@ ChielScape, no teh mod wil have another name. And about voteing things in game is a great idea!
So to make it work properly, I'll need a forum with an sub-folder named something like "new units and stuff" where ppl can vote if they whant it in game or not. Hmm, I'll do it! But not quit yet. Very Happy I have some more coding on my mod befor I show it to you. BTW, It needs RP, but that won't be a problem, RP 1.08 (SE) works for YR and TDF-YR
Wee, I hope this is gonna be on hell of a mod!

NOTE!!! I'll make it kind of like teh beta testing forum, you have to be add to the grup. Just to keep "newbe-noob" out of it Very Happy

AND ONE MORE THING, everyone hwo is added to teh list wil get credit, so DO SOMETHING

IE, a community based mod rather than a small team based one. May be playable, but would be a tad tedious.

I think a better idea is two people each creating a 'side' in a mod, then battling to tweak balance.

hmm..... OK, a mix of the two ways of making a mod. Only some checed users can code the mod. Voxels and infi. can be voted into the mod! And makeing each user make a new side. Useing the new RP negativpreq.. (missspeled, i know). Thsi might get realy cool, or totaly messed up. Time wil show Very Happy
