hi, I made my version of the humvee. heh, was tougher than I thought. I made my version to be much larger (as big as my light tanks but smaller than my battle tanks) because I'm remaking all civie vehicles to be much bigger to make more sense with the TS infantry Laughing . Anyway, here it is!

Overview:
Name:M998 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle Mk.2
Manufacturer:Ford Motor Company
General Restorer:IVI Very Happy
Armament:1x M2 machine gun or 1x M240 machine gun or 1x M249 Squad Automatic Weapon or 1x Ty-Resurreccion WARTEC Laboratories (T-Rex WARLAB) EAW-14 3.7 caseless Minigun, 1x TOW launcher, Smoke grenade dischargers
Powerplant:some old gas-infused engine; Chun Jie micro fusion reactor (those upgraded by IVI)
Top Speeds: 50mph (those touched up by IVI can go up to 88mph on clear terrain)

A Secessionist recon team stumbled across an abandoned military base somewhere near Korea. The Korean base had American machines there that seemed hastily left behind. for the Secessionist group, it was like finding a gold mine. quickly calling in rebel mechanics and technicians, they were able to activate the machines. Their new booty included a dozen old 'Humvee' armored jeep, a few M1A3 Abrams and an M270 MLRS. The Secessionists had some of the armor details rehashed by IVI. the local IVI tech-outpost was only too happy to be able to observe old technology and made records out of every single piece of construction.. down to the last bolt.

A nice voxel, although I don't overly like the light windows on this model, I think the colour scheme would suggest dark windows more.

But thats just me. Still good work. Smile

Great voxel, and when it comes to the armament, I will stay with good ol' M2 Browning, which for this vehicle is over a century in age, right?

Lol, that would make it a very long lasting gun.

yea but the browning is crap. During 2003 trials against the Russian KORD it failed to accurately hit the targets while the KORD hit em pretty well.

Dont you two know weapon accuracy is largely in the control of the user? Granted there are some characteristics out of the users control BUT it still remains that way.

Besides the Browning is relatively cheap to make and has a history of being reliable enough for combat duty.

The KORD was proven to be a very cheap and effective MG to mass produce. The browning was used only because there was nothing better available (m60 is a hybrid copy of the fg42 and mg42)
