WIP nightmare factory.

Well.. I was hoping for some kind of feedback on this, sketching it in PSP7.

its obviously unfinished.

and yes its quite different style from the fancy rendered stuff we see, and yea the contrast makes it look more toony when matched with TS .shps

but I think it has some potential.

wow! you made that all by yourself? it's very good! it really has that nightmarish ambiance to it. But if you ask me it should be much larger in order to impose more nightmares. Idea

it still needs shadow, not only shadow frames, but also on the structure itself, not all sides face the sun...

lol, yea...... i just painted with the brush tool, using 3x3 RA2 grid, no scanned references. i figured it would be a waste sketching it out on paper....its a giant mutanted tv/microwave oven. that cooks up scary stuff. Razz

theres a size comparasion with a the GDI war fact... and its much larger.

[random tangent]...im curious how in the heck do pixel artists get all those lovely shades in their work? i mean...that looks paintful painting at those pixels at a time..even though I know they hell sure don't do it that way. Neutral

Funny you should mention that Yuri06, as I the line, "The Chocolate Factory is under attack" kept playing in my head in EVA sweetly annoying silo's are needed voice..

ill post some updates once i get the chance.

Lol and I appreciate the feedback guys thanks, I definately helped me improve, and will pursue using this method plus, rendering etc.
