Subject description: C&C games for everyone! (instead of AK-47)

Today, I've decided to browse Amazon.com to find out if old games are still sold somewhere in the world, since you can only buy The First Decade today and, with some luck, Generals without zero hour.

I've typed 'Command & Conquer' in the search and I've got a lot of results. Some are amazing, take a look at some prices for new games:

-> C&C Worldwide Warfare: $16.99 (TD + RA1 and expansions)
-> Tiberian Sun: $0.43
-> Firestorm: $4.75
-> The Command & Conquer Collection: $14.98 (TS + RA2 + Renegade and expansions)
-> Generals Deluxe Edition: $14.98 (Generals + Zero Hour)

And:

-> The First Decade: $27.99 (all C&Cs in a DVD)

And of course, it's cheaper to acquire The First Decade then, a mix of those packages. Expansions alone might be more expensive than the package itself, specially Yuri's Revenge.

The First Decade is good for those who doesn't want a lot of CDs spreaded at home, but it's bad for those who like using fan work like mods, some modding tools, etc... and it only works properly after some patches, although we are still patiently waiting the patch 1.03 to fix RA1 multiplayer problems.

So, here's our suggestion for christmas: give Command & Conquer games for your friends and family. Take your conclusions.

Id rather take the AK-47. At least you can storm EAs office with it.

Course it's quite likely to be just a CD in a sleeve with a serial printed on it.

Indeed. The prices are too low to be true.

My ass it is. Its a fair deal for TS. Firestorm is worth much more, and its much better.

By adding a cheesy overpowered Juggernaut and some flashy green/blue terrain makes Firestorm worth of 11 times the prize of Tiberian Sun O_o ? #Silly

By adding so-called third side which was just a blue clone of Nod? except some buildings like the core and the huge robot immune to almost everything (except water Wink)...sure, the campaign is good, but Firestorm could have been more...

RA2 and TS can go for £5, some RA2 and TS 'EA Classic' games are £10 here. TD can also be £10 on the 'rip off' sales. Originals are better. #Tongue
