C&C3 Trailer is now available!
Subject description: You can't kill the messiah!
The top secret C&C3 trailer promised to be linked in the BfME2 expansion is now available for the public. Thanks to our special agents, we've tracked the secret movie right here. It's about 54mb of movie showing a fast and fluid gameplay, some units like Mammoths, Juggernaughts and Flame Tanks in action and a lot of destruction. The movie was aproved by Kane. Check it out! QUICK_EDIT
Even most of it was battles we've seen in screens, the animations look pretty sweet. Also nice to know the Juggernaut has to deploy before firing. I imagine the better new media is being kept for Dec. 19.

damn, can't wait to see it. Too bad I'm at school now... The don't allow watching these movies. Actually they even won't allow I'm on this forum _________________
wtf? all I see is white and I hear some voices...QuickTime complains about some missing compressor...
EDIT: oh, good, got it working with Media Player well, I'm amazed...not from the graphics, but from the words "the dawn of the Tiberian age"! That should be Tiberian Dawn! this confirms the fact they are making a weird game that is between TS and TD O_o _________________
It was more or less confirmed that the MLRS wouldn't be in, when they said they'd have the Juggernaut and not the Hover MLRS.
In TS, the MLRS wasn't as much of the artillery unit it was initially supposed to be due to balancing, and as a result, they brought in the Juggernaut to fix this issue.
So, if you think about it, the Juggernaut in FS was no more than a bipedal artillery.. so they've done nothing new here!
If they'd just fixed the Hover MLRS to be the true beast it initially was going to be, we'd all be happy. But that didn't happen, and it won't happen now.
Still, I enjoyed the video, its a shame to hear Joe's voice has gone off a little since the last echo of his might was last heard, but he's still our Kane, and I still love him.
I long ago accepted it wouldn't be quite the game I had wanted since first finishing TS, but I think it'll be a good game in its own right, and thus I'm looking forward to it.
It'll have a Tiberium theme, which will keep me happy, and a delicious cast, and from what I've seen, it hasn't been bad in itself, and I think it'll be an enjoyable game.
Its just not exactly the game we all initially wanted.
I'm for sure buying it.
Also, anyone else notice.. bending.. effects of the lasers over explosions and heat sources? If they've got light defraction due to heat ingame..

If all your getting is a white screen (with sound) you have to go to the quick time site and download the new version. (this is what I had to do to get it to work, as auto-updating just returned error messages like mentioned before) _________________ The Cake is a Lie!!!

It's an H.264 video codec with an mp4a audio codec, joint together in a QuickTime/MOV container. iow: It's a standard quicktime file. Quicktime Player 7.1, VLC 0.8.5 and mplayer 1.0pre7-3.4.2 all play it just fine for me.

Questions~?
C&C 3: Tiberium Wars Questions
I have a few questions regarding how squads will impact game mechanics. First off, I am a huge C&C fan and have agreed with your reasons stated in the podcasts for the adopting of squads.
First as Squads are subject to attrition, and members are killed, what happens to a squad when, there’s only one member left, can you combine to partial squads? Also if a squad is equipped with a leader such as a confessor, can it be added to an intact squad? Will there be medics as in Tiberian sun, or will infantry be able to heal at their barracks?
Also, Can you still command members of a squad individually, and how far separated can members of a squad be?
Will you be able to order a squad to adopt a formation? An example would be for on member of the squad to “take point” while the others trailed behind. This would create a buffer between the main body of infantry and a cloaked or long range weapon such as an obelisk of light (thereby allowing them to retreat with much of them intact). Another formation would be a wedge formation, giving each a clear lane of fire. This would have been very useful with such units as the devils tongue and disruptor from TS, both of which required too much micromanagement to avoid friendly fire. Also, how smart will individual infantry be and how much will veterancy affect them?
Though I doubt it, will 360 users be able to compete with computer gamers? It was originally planned with Halo 2 for PC, but I believe was scrapped.
Will this game be as easily modded as Tiberian sun? Will fans be able to create new units and even make total conversion mods?
When will we see a trailer featuring a glimpse of FMV
Do you have any current plans to create an expansion pack?
(more to be added later?) _________________

Squads are basically equal to one man as far as i gather, it just looks cooler than a lone rocket man does. Dont think formations will be involved, pointless imo.
From what Ive been hearing lately and this trailer puts it at that, this game has dropped below the level of acceptable for a CnC game from a gameplay point of view. I wont get it....legally anyways unless I see it in the bargain bin for 5$ or less. (probably will happen within 6 months)
Sorry to be the negative factor here but this game looks to be a graphics whores dream and no real gameplay other than a quick cut/paste from previous CnC mistakes. QUICK_EDIT
You're judging a game in it's entirity by using a 90 second teaser trailer in low-def? Boy, I really hope you aren't part of any jury I'll ever have to face in my life... QUICK_EDIT
Its not just the trailer. But everything else. The EA PredApoc guy said the system recs at PCNC and frankly its unattractive to the "mass market" aka rather HIGH.
That and the gameplay has just gotten worse and worse as the game has progressed it seems. QUICK_EDIT
