Some ideas rest of the theaters going to be used for. Well while D3 took place on mars/hell. the rest of the doom games took place in quite a varity of places. The main was are the obvious ones. ;P
Urban
an apocalyptic setting.Old buildings, some new, but everything has this wartorn feel. heavy use of industrial buildings. closterphobic, dark. smoggy and polluted.
UrbanNew. Similar to above, but on Mars, nice rich red soil, some high tech buildings but aged.
Temperate- Thick heavy jungles, vines, toxic pools.Dark muddy swampy.
Desert-. desert ruins. of abandoned ghost towns, mines, with some extra egyptian ruins.
Artic- well...Glaciers, snow, creepy winter woods. cabins and frosty cities?
maybe replace it with something else...
Lunar-Hell maps- Lakes of boiling Blood , Lava,fossilized ruins. demonic architecture. bone trees. etc _________________ Delirium.. QUICK_EDIT

Looking forward to this. I am sorry I cannot help, but when you got 2 other mods (and a small mod for RA2, not Stalemate), you got your priorities split.

Wow, alot of people like what were planning. Right now I'm kinda making demons .SHPs and stuff like that. There's alot of units and buildings that are gonna be made, plus on top of that theres the possibility of two campaigns and new enviorments. The best way to get all this done is to have a small team divying up the work. A couple people have said that they could help out which is grea! If you want to pitch in with any shps. voxels, cameos, etc, send me a message on what you think you can do. It would be greatly appreciated. My method of SHP. making is to draw stick figures and then fill em' in, so it's time consuming (I was told making a 3d model would be easier, but I don't have any programs to do that ). If you want to see a quick little job look at Akult's topic "Delerium wars" I have a chainsaw guy there. (He'll be redone) You know what, if you have a creepy vioce we can use that!

I'm working on some building .SHPs (what does SHP stand for anyways?) for the UAC. IF you're hoping for screen shots you may have to wait awhile. 1) most of the stuff I have is experimental and 2) I don't have a site and I don't think you can directly post screenies from your comp.
Anyways I have a little idea for a competition. Get the coolest screen shots from Doom 1,2,3 or final. I'll take the best of them and use them as the background screen in the main screens. I'll be judging by the following:
1)coolness
2)originality (I don't want a thousand picts of the same demon)

....Its a nice idea, but anyone can rip sprites out and come up with whatever they wanted...rather than that...

I've been working on making stuff, just to let you all know this project is alive and it's gonna rock. Anyways I'm using Banshee's .SHP maker as of right now. While it is a good program, and it really helps me with my concept work, it is a bit time consuming for the finish product. ok, here's the concept... I imagine in the mod that the DOOM demon sides' units cost 10 $ each so that they can hoard practically hundreds of demons to charge the UAC marines' bases.
This model is still a Work In Progress, so tell me what you think about it and what I should improve on it.
It's basically a multi-AC platform that sports two quad barrelled 20mm rotary Auto Cannons that propel 20mm depleted uranium shells at 3000 rounds per minute each.
I was thinking that the marines could use this to shred waves of zombies and small demons. It could hurt the heavier demons too but to add balance, the heavier demons should be able to destroy these in a couple of quick swipes.
While some of UAC lighter units will be based on the articulated Sentry Drone...Such as these
Combat Drone-
Auto-Shield*name pending.
A mechanized bunker, that can deploy to protect infantry from biological and supernatural warfare.
Repair Bot.
The UAC are like the Allies in RA1, they have a number of units performing a vast array of functions. While these units lack in brute strenght, they make up for in number and ability.
Heres a clearer view of the war on Earth.
A large percentage of urban populations suffer from zombie infestations. These area ring around a central point of origin. The region surrounding these are labled Advanced Decompostion zones.
It is within this zone a far more intelligent version of zombie operates. These operatives are highly militaristic in manner.Utilizing weapons, factories and even vehicles. They pollute the land, dumping sludge, and billowing large plumps of toxic smoke and gas. Make offensive operations nearly impossible.
A number of them seem to be guarding so called Toxin Refineries, bunkers and even war factories. augmenting flesh and machine.
rumors spread of infested skyscrapers that house large fruiting bodies made out of what appears to be living flesh.----These massive tumors seem to be a nesting grounds of arachnic like swarms, to far more advance mutantions, spreading Pestilance across the land. _________________ Delirium.. The back end needs work, but just getting a visual how the damn thing will look like...well i effed up the camera angle, and the shadows are temp. which will change later on.
so any suggestions?
---Pretty much pinkies were harvested for their juicy meat, leathery skin and dim witted, i mean for their unwaivering loyalty. Making them Hell's best friend. Their great sense of smell, thick hide and beefy muscles got them the job of sniffing out earth truffles and rolling in toxic sludge for the team.
