Migs With Tactical Nuke Missiles (Fuel Airbomb topic)
is is possible to possibly make a fuel airbomb for RA2 and YR? i seemed to remeber that there is a parabomb superweapon would it be possible to alter that then use that as a fuel aribomb template? _________________

DeeZire had a parabomb superweapon in his mod, although I don't know if there's a better way. If it had a deathweapon with a large cellspread and a suitable animation, you could emulate the fuel air bomb. _________________

how would i go about doing that? im realativly a vry average modder and im still learning the tricks of the trade but its an idea me and thorn came up with what we would like to see in a ra game _________________

rocker=yes would make units bounce around, the bounciness depends on weight values
If you made a normal bomb e.g. like a kirov bomb then you attach directrocker properties (go to downloads ra2 deezire and download the editing guide) direct rocking allows u to flip units like the MOAB upgrade in generals. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

Hmm...I have just coded in a fuel air bomb for my mod...
I found the GTPOWEXP animation makes for a good animation, if you use a cluster weapon for the FAB...

Remember to have a unit like the XCOMET placeholder for the FuelCluster weapon... Or it will crash when it attacks units or infantry...

um no he means its far to unbalancing for unmodded RA2/YR. It would be good if you have something else to balance it effectively like a slow strong plane or a relatively weak fast plane. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

No, you are going to want something more along the lines of

Basically, lower the damage the cluster does each, along with the original missile
Change the SSMRLSHEAT around to your likings...

I beg to differ...

lol, you do the math. nuke clustered 20 times 1000x20=20,000
500+(6x800) = 5,300

again it seems like some of my old begineers modifications will not be kept secret anymore, actually thorn if u remeber i doubled the damage and clustered the nuke so its actually 40,000 not 20,000 damage............. *twisted* what can i say im a sucker for the nuke and my migs....... Well once again im back just got back from my stint in nomans land and im back to my modding genius! well im still trying to get things worked out with my Generals conversion to YR but things are not running well, but im putting my call out for my old team to reform if they can find time to help...... _________________
