"i alrdy tried modifying its cost in the Rules.ini, but nothing happened.."

Anderwin, learn to read questions before heroically posting something unhelpfull.

If you have changed the cost of the walls, I don't see why it shouldn't have affected it, however I believe someone had the same problem once on these forums and they posted a topic about it, I suggest you look around for it.

A small question: do you have TS patched up to 2.03. If so, with this patch, the walls can be created with a line (just like Firestorm Defence Wall), and the cost of the wall is hardcoded to $250.

Yeah Dutchygamer, i have the 2.03 patch. "Hardcoded" means, no matter what i do, theyll always cost 250 ??

Ps: i speak spanish, thats why i might suck at english.

hardcoded parts of the game can't be changed by the superficial .ini files. like how the civilians always turn colored gray.

actually you can #Tongue

you just need to look at the color table inside the rules file

under [Colors]

the values there are HSV, or Hue, Saturation, Value

Saturation is how strong the Hue color shows up( faded, or bright ), the Value tag sets how light or dark it is, high values make it light
and Hue is well, the color, in a mildly fucked up way #Tongue

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HSV_color_space <- should help you

the civilians i believe are , i think, light grey

this table also has all the multiplay colors in it

here's a good topic to look it up :
http://www.ppmsite.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8838

and on fixing "hardcoded units" simply clone em #Tongue, and make the originals unbuildable, of course you need to adjust tags to reflect the cloned units, but i won't get into that, simply fiddle around with it

hey, that's very useful information there Judeau, thanks. I read somewhere in the forums some time ago that their remap color can't be changed but perhaps now I can finally change that annoying gray color on the civies Smile

for designedFor

now, I back to english Smile

If i can guess good, you gave him the advise to use TibEd. Then i give this advise: dont use it, just use Notepad or a similar program, because TibEd and all other relatives (SunEdit2K, etc) mess up your files. I say this because i have used them too.

Dutchygamer: yeah, i tried using Sunedit2k but i dont like it, cause it does mess things up.
