Anyway, the C&C community isn't inacitve at all. There are new screenshots and a new video from C&C All Stars, RenGuard 1.032 gets into public beta testing stage. Once it's released, let's hope to get a cheat-free online experience for Renegade. Also, head to TS: Savage War to download some new resources, many of them previously posted on PPM forums
Here's some quick news:
-> Do you want some wallpapers? Head to the C&C3 Official Site to find out the results of the wallpaper contest they've organized there. There were several honourable mentions that you can download, but the winning ones are exclusive to the Kane Edition of the game.
-> Tiberian Sun Retro might be a very old mod and the last release was years (yes, plural) ago. However, SMIFFGIG has still updated the TS Retro ModDB profile, including a new logo of the mod.
-> (Thanks Dario) Joe Kucan was interviewed by Stun at the forums from GamersNation.co.uk. As usual, interviews with him are great and this is no exception.

"Stun - It’s been a long time for this sequel to arrive and there is a lot of expectation amongst the die-hard fans of the C&C series. Why do you think the game has stood the test of time, do you think a lot of it is down to the cut scenes?
Joe Kucan - You know, yes: I like to think that a lot of the game’s lasting popularity has to do with the FMV. I think that “Command & Conquer” really found a way to make the gaming experience PERSONAL. There’s something to be said for a pair of human eyes staring out at you from a monitor, challenging you to complete a task, taunting you toward failure, pleading with you for help – there’s a personal connection there that’s very hard to recreate with CG. I have so many people tell me that I’m the reason they failed their PoliSci midterms or whatever; they stayed up way too late trying to wipe that smug smirk off of my face! Sure, CG has come a long way: it’s easy to create texture, motion, mass – very realistic looking characters. But at the end of day, these are just golems; I still believe it takes a human being to really connect with a gamer on a human level."

For those waiting the demo that comes next week, check this IGN review about it, showing all its features. You'll be able to play GDI in a tutorial, two single player missions and one skirmish map.
It looks like that the demo is already finished, because the developpers are playing a tournament to test the final product. Some of the members like Mike Verdu aren't participating on it, but other people like Predator, Jim Vessela, Greg Black and Jason Bender are playing it. However, Bender was defeated by Jim, on which was probably the biggest classic so far. Anyway, our cheers go to Simon Gavin, for his pretty kick ass Guerilla AI. Guys, that AI provided me a lot of fun at EA
And that's all for now. There are still some important news to post and I took a long time writing this one.
