Hey guys, how bout putting yourself in the game and get a Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Edition signed by the development team? Yea, ladies and gentlemen! Uncle sam wants YOU on Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour! Your name for sure, but you can also put your face, if you have some modelling skills. Grab your weapons, make sure it's ballanced compared to the rest of the game, pack your things into a .BIG file and let your cloning procedures starts in a nearby barracks, war factory or airfield. Here's the original words from the C&C Files crew on this event:

What a shitty competition, I can't participate as I don't have Generals or ZH as I disposed of them.

Nope, they should open it to the whole C&C audience. I imagine there'd be a community uproar over there if it was a make a Tiberian Sun unit for example (which ironically would be more suitable as C&C3 has little to no ties except in regards to the engine with the ZH universe).
It shouldn't need to be in game at all in my opinion. Concept art, models everything but the actual insertion into the game should be able to be submitted. Not that my opinion would be listened to if I voiced it to people who have a say in the competition terms..

Also, I don't keep games I get no enjoyment from. It defeats the purpose of them and makes those bad at fufilling their existance you see. Wink

I have no idea who I agree more, Banshee or Chiel. I do have Generals and ZH, but I don't know how to mod it. That way I'd agree Chielscape. But, some could complain about OMCs if they had no Tiberian Sun, nor could they map.

I agree with Carnivean on all intents, besides what about those that can't model? This makes the competition for all intents bad, not the user, and why is it restricted to Zero Hour? It should be open to all the C&C games.

I can see this competition plummeting anyway, with some person giving a half-bake job to get a free special Tiberium Wars game because nobody else could be bothered to enter. Free TW ftw!

If I was going to design this competition I would do these things:

A correct representation of yourself and any weaponry you would carry.
Including yourself in ANY of the C&C games.
Your faction you have aligned yourself with, be it GLA, Soviets, Yuri, w/e.
Good detail and concepts get the big marks.
