I have Tiberian Sun and Firestorm exp pack, with patch 2.03 installed.

Im editing here and there, and i have a problem: i wanted the NOD stealth tank to be buildable by only having the nod war factory, so i had this:

; Stealth tank
[STNK]
Name=Stealth Tank
Prerequisite=NAWEAP,NATECH

and changed it to:

; Stealth tank
[STNK]
Name=Stealth Tank
Prerequisite=NAWEAP

and nothing happened..i still need the Tech Center to build the stealth tank......later, i tried changing the "Cost" to 600, to see if it worked.. when i tested it, i still need the NOD Tech Center to build the Stealth Tank, but it only cost 600 ....... Whats happening?, am i doing something wrong? ..help please, thx
ps: im trying to learn more about editing ..kinda hard.. #Mad

Hint:You may want to lower tech level for Stealth tank then...

i put it to " TechLevel=2 "..i chose 2, cause thats the level required to build a nod war factory.....nothing happened, i still need to build a NOD tech center to build stealth tanks... any other ideas?

Are you sure the rules.ini is in the right place?
in order for it to work it needs to be in the Tiberian Sun directory:
C:/Westwood/Sun
Also double check on the name. If it's not "rules.ini" specifically, then the game won't read it at all

the problem ist firestorm.ini - it overwrites rules.ini (FS changed all unit prerequisites to work with normal and mobile warfactory)

No, the problem is that all vehicle entries are edited in firestrm.ini, as Chriz said.
Since all vehicle have NODFACTORY, instead of NAWEAP, or GDIFACTORY, instead of GAWEAP. A change that it is used for the mobile war factories.
So in short, changes that he made to rules.ini won't matter, if he is playing firestorm, and has not edited firestrm.ini values for the prerequisite tag #Tongue
