IVI SPAFV-13 Mandirigma
Hi! In my mod the GDI AI most often than not becomes routed after repetitive Nod light tank waves. I priced the Nod IVI light tanks low (around 450-675 while GDI IVI battle tanks are 1400-1600 ) because the former are much weaker in terms of hp adn firepower. they do however fire much much faster (with ROFs of 25-35) and move around much much more quickly (speeds of 10-11)
The cheap cost always give the Nod the advantage of numbers and the high ROFs eventually overwhelm the GDI (although when playing the GDI I have no problems with Nod because I use disruptors and Tamaraws to destroy the mobs). Anyway to help the AI out, I made the IVI SPAFV-13
Overview:
Name=IVI SPAFV-13 Mandirigma
Producer/Developer=Isserel 'Xiang Tze Wu' Vehicle Industries
For=GDI, some rival japanese factions, rich warlords
Armament=1x 105mm Mass Driver, 1x 4.7 caseless minigun (coaxial)
Max Speed=70mph/60mph/54mph
The new IVI SPAFV-13 Mandirigma light tank provides armor redundancy for GDI forces. Although the Mandirigma (dubbed 'Mandy' by it's pilots) is classified as a light tank, it actually falls between the grey area; it's slow for a light tank but fast for an MBT. it's heavily armored for a light tank but still thin for an MBT either. Regardless, the 'Mandy' has found a niche in the GDI platoon. that is, armor consisting purely of IVI SPAFV-24b Achron Mk2s is very expensive and though they have tremendous staying power, their 120mm MD cool down slowly resulting to diminished ROF. the 'Mandy' 105mm MD however fires faster and so with combined Mandy and Achron platoons, the chemistry is obvious. Add an IVI SPAFV-34 Stegodon or two, some tank destroyers: and Nod light tank platoons don't stand a chance
Pros: Relatively cheap (800), moderate ROF, has high HP, IVI ceramic armor re-forms (self healing), high 105mm MD damage
Cons: Slow for a light tank (speed 6.5), compared to nod IVI light tanks it's ROF isn't much to be proud of.

TS has a point.. but, is there 1 pole or 2? As I see some with 1, and some with 2...
The one on the turret is fine, but the other will get in the way of the turret. _________________ If there is a problem on the forums, PM me. QUICK_EDIT

how I wish I could show you the concept art for it... but I haven't had it scanned yet... so that'll have to wait.
note: I didn't see Mr. Pokey's reply before.... that Mammy Mk.II model isn't mine... I just found it in the voxels section... or was it the TS retro section???? I can't remember ><

Just curiosity, but how big is it compaired to a Grizzly Tank?
I'm so sorry, I don't have RA2 and so I wouldn't really know. the old Mandy is 42 voxels long and the new one is 52 voxels long. _________________ "War.... war never changes....." QUICK_EDIT
