APOC Rescue Operation.
Subject description: We have exclusive pictures with the fate of Predator..
At the CommandAndConquer.com, these crazy lunatics with double personality have posted some podcasts with the operation where Predator and a team of GDI special field agents did to rescue APOC. It's divided in 3 parts and it has a lot of action.
However, they forgot to mention the real fate of Predator after the end of the mission. He really couldn't survive after that. Our special picture taken by our secret agents confirms that Predator was captured and executed by Nod agents.
Errr... just kidding. But honestly, nice picture there, isn't it? It was taken during the december's C&C 3 Community Summit and the guy with the modified AK-47 there is my buddy The Hypnotist, from CNCNZ.com (read: CNCNZed dot com) and the person with Predator's mask is Aaron Kaufman, of course.
The 3 post's above me are a little, "Spammy", don't you think?
Anyhow, what exactly is the point of this again? Is they're trying to be funny in some kind of way, i didn't find this news, funny, what so ever...
Or, it could just be that, they are not even trying to be funny... Hmm, someone enlighten me here... I'm beggining to confuse myself even worse than i normaly do... QUICK_EDIT
I think EA sux. One of the biggest issues I have with them is the LAN play. They have implemented multiple key checks and "DVD" checking for LAN based games. At least Westwood gave the player two disks so if they wanted to play lan at home, or with a friend, they could.
Anyway, there are workarounds which EA wouldn't agree with, but sux to them. The DVD checking only occurs at the start of the game (with the 'splash screen'), so you just start each computer one by one, inserting the DVD and starting it up. As for the serial numbers, I don't think I need to say more.
EA to me, is the corporate version of Mr. Creosote (see Monty Python). QUICK_EDIT
Just about every PC developer does this. The days of free multiplayer using the same copy is long since over. Singling out EA in this issue seems a bit desperate.
This wasn't really related to the thread, either. _________________
