Hey, everyone, this isn't dead.  Trust me.  I AM gonna get this done!  Just, I need a couple of days to get my Report Card in, which brings me off restrictions since seventh grade (I'm in ninth), get a disc, and see if:

1.)  PaD cares if I have a friend add some stuff to the patch, and allow me to release the gamemd.exe.  This means that there will be Tiberium Jellyfish, Destroyable Cliffs, amongst other things in this, making it a VERY unique mod.  Ha, if not one-of-a-kind.

2.)  I have to go to a buddy's place to get graphics from OmegaBolt, and terrain, which poses the problem still.

After all of these are done, expect some good screenshots and stuff, and I will have my friend working on this...so I am gonna go PM PaD and see if he cares.   Peace!

Just alittle question, why dont you work with Scorpions Revenge mod for RA2/YR?
They have the same objectives as you and could use some help  Wink .

Umm...oh yeah!

Whenever PaD gets back and gives me an o.k., I will be attempting to remove or somehow change the 100-unit bug and Whiteboy bug.  If I can't fix it, I'll add 200 + units, thus making it the 300-unit bug.  And I don't know about the Whiteboy bug...

The 100 unit bug can't be fixed...ever.It's just harcoded.

If it wasn't,we could create great mods with 50 factions etc...

It can, break hard-coding to fix it...pay attention!  My friend is gonna use the RP, now that permission has been granted, in some form, from PD.  The actual edit must be released as a patch also, and I will do that.  But you will see it in my mod...Like I said, its gonna be publicly released...

Well, I resurrect this, and not for some useless bump...

We have good news, bad news, some odd news, and a breakthrough with the mod. Now, where to start...

1.) Our audio person, Sir Modsalot, has left until May for school reasons, and that delays the final release of the mod.

2.) All SWs will be done, and with the way it looks, you won't need RP.

3.) The Firestorm is up at debate at Nahaira. Go to the link above, and go to the Yuri's Revenge: Tiberian Sun Category, Discussion forum. There, the post will be.

4.) The mod will be posted up here, but not the advanced Director's Cut mod. This will be the EXTRA-CHUNKED with all kinds of goodies we wanted into it...nothing about it has been publicized yet, other than it exists.

Deezire has an EMP-emulation in Deezire, trust me. We can make 2 versions, one easily made with RP, and one not needing RP, alot harder, or really time consuming.

2.) Well, yes, it is technically a mess still. Sad, isn't it? We haven't gotten fully organized yet. We are working on it. And as far as we know, there is nothing done yet. I have to re-do all the SWs, and figure out EMP emulation. Sir Modsalot is on the audio, and I do believe he has all the sounds converted already. ORCACommander and I, afaik, have done close to nothing. We are slacking. I have sent them a handy link, so things should get off the ground.

As of tonight, March 30, 2006, at 10:00 EST PM, I am not modding for an extended amount of time. So, while I am still around, you may ask as many questions as you wish, but do pay attention to the FAQ that I will add up:

1.) Who will lead the team? ORCACommander

2.) Why will I be leaving? To work on a group video FPS game, not yet named.

3.) What does this mean for me as far as the community and any other things that may happen? I may rarely be on any MSN/Y!M/AIM/etc...kinds of programs, but if I am, I will be discussing the game progression.




I have enjoyed my time in the community, and have no idea when I return.

I just want everyone to know that, as before, I'll return in May, and I want to fill in info for Modder666: he will be back, since he won't be doing the game now, but oddly enough, the new team leader, as mentioned before, is ORCACommander. This "gloppy mess" as you guys are calling it, will be cleaned up pretty soon when everything's organized. I hate to say it, though, I don't think organization will come easy or soon, as I wanted just one site for mod hosting, which is Nahaira, of course, but he made another forum, which he abandoned because of the lack of the ability to upload new templates and create sub-forums, and now there's, get this, a blog. Yeah. For the mod. 666 wanted a more organized thing for the mod than HTML, but I don't think that's the problem, or even the solution. I'm just frustrated with all the crap going on; my off-campus stuff, my help with Icedogg's mod, and the part I play in this one, which I have a good feeling won't be delayed because of my small absence. It may look like I'm just a complaining machine, but I can't really complain, as I don't really control the team's actions, and I know that eventually, 666 will settle down and devote more work to the stuff he already has, and keep our sites as organized as he needs them. Icedogg, we don't really have work to show yet, but as soon as we do, we'll try to get hosting here at PPM for this thing. So sit tight people, and we'll have good stuff to show off real soon (hopefully)! So, until next month, I say goodbye!
