Nod Strike

Discarding the Act on Instinct idea, I decided to pursue some original material. It's standard nowadays for strategy games to feature separate soundtracks for each side, but Westwood never got that far with the original saga. I always figured Drum n' Bass was perfect for Nod, since they are all about speed and hit & run tactics.

Well, whichever it is, it does sound like Nod Crush, but it's freaking awesome! If you completely made it from scratch, then you deserve to be called the next Frank Klepacki! Very Happy

It's completely from scratch. You might as well call it a spiritual successor to Nod Crush.

Absolutley awesome. I think you tried very hard to mirror Klepacki's techno/beat/ambiance/sound clippy style, and although you succeeded, it's still your own.

The fact a C&C fan can make something like this is awesome. Kudos man, definite kudos!

Thats very nice, although in TS it would be out of place as TS is a slow game I think the track itself is absoloutely excellent and really has a good general flow and keeps some very nice elements of CnC in thier well done!

Btw out of interest what programes ( or instruments do you use? )

that is simply fantastic piece of work, although I would recommend to remove those high sounds that appear once in a while.
