How about replacing the stock C&C 3 Naval Units with these?

They're a bit monotonous in color. Try making some things gray, like the barrels.

Definite improvements over the first render.

DID anybody ever had the thought to read the "first" post that "SAYS" yes "THESE ARE REPRESENTATIVE MODELS" from "SUPCOM"? and "THESE" renders were just being provided is order to "SPECULATE" the posibilities of bringing the same "GRAPHICAL" "BEAUTY" INTO the "Command & Conquer Universe?............................................................ALBEIT NO ONE MADE A THOUGHT WHY EALA "LACKS" N THE SAME "CATEGORICAL" IMAGINATIVE" and "INVENTIVENESS" when it comes to visualization................... "AND" WHILE EVERYONE IS TAKING THE "OFFENSIVES" in bringing the "IDEALS" of these "MOD" lets close THESE "THREAD DOWN" for good....................and all the other ones in its kind.............................................

The "BIG DIFFERENCE" between those who "wants to "HELP" win the "BATTLE and those who are just standing on the sidelines and "cheering" the ones "FIGHTING" it out, is that "WHEN EVERYTHING IS GOING LOW FOR EVRYONE -JUST WATCHING IT- SOMETHING ELSE GOES WRONG-------------- ITS WHAT THEY CALLED "THE UNEXPECTED------------"Then somebody brings home the bacon and everyone elle is HAPPY...............

TO: IcySon55;

In emphasizing your "POINT" did you ever had it in your mind to "THINK" that what "I" was after for is to provide a "RADICAL" point of view in emphasizing "WHAT IS LACKING" in "OUR" venerable GAME? What we "THE GAMERS" want in C&C3?.....................

Maybe you didnt have it in your mind coz all you were thinking of is.....................................well ........ you will just have to put it on your own words why you have to post what you have posted here.............................................................................................

Another thing:

To those of the likes of DaTsChikenHead & IcySon55 and their likes; who are nothing but sceptics who may or may not have something to give to this forum, other that just to "EMPHASIZE" they've seen, used, "modified" or whatever, those "RENDERS being shown here other than that for the sole purpose of "ACADEMIC" sharing............ (MODDING) can say whatever they "ever" like.

"Me" I'l just "STAND" by the "Purpose" of "MAKING" C&C a universe of games where the imagination of the fans will fly to "NO LIMITS"

"THOSE WHO PLAY C&C, LOVES IT, THOSE WHO LOVES IT, MODS IT, & THOSE WHO MODS IT.............WELL, THEY BECOME PART OF IT, AND ALL SO ALL THOSE OTHERS WHO WILL AND SHALL TREAD BY AND PASS BY ITS WORLD............................"

TO: IcySon55

Is that the best "RENDERING" you got from SupCom? I was hoping somebody could at least "refute" these models with a better "RENDERING" aside from the one i'm using which is the "NormalMap" DX9 Shader being used by BFME2 SDK in MAX9? (I have not even included the normals yet in these renders, just the difuse ones.......)

see the "CATEGORICAL" capability of the "LATEST SAGE ENGINE?"...............

no offense but your should have bring those permutated FS see-weed's into Tiberium wars, looking attractive and do a little evolution on them....instead of...fish & ships...

And to anybody else thinkin otherwise..........

The NEW SAGE ENGINE "RENDERS" everything in C&C3 with at least A "FAR BETTER" Normal mapping/BumpMapping", specular mapping, etc....etc....under dx9 and even better.......with open support for an upcoming dx10 compliance.............which makes any upcoming C&C games even............................................... Well, you can just think about the possibilities, Me? I've seen what, foreseeably and predictably, an ENGINE designed to be "ADAPTABLE" with "TECHNOLOGY TRENDS...............

If that's 3D Studio Max 9, why are you taking screenshots instead of actually rendering? Also, what was the point of 5 posts in a row? Haven't been using forums for very long? Edit button?

TO IcySon55;

Can you give me a better rendering? Do you know the difference between a "grab Viewport" and a "Screenshot"?

Like wise, in a matter of "three wiks" according to lion in cnc den, an SDK will be comin out, but prior to that, i'll be posting some nice "screenies" of C&C3 models (Think i'll be doin de tanks and wheeled vehicles first)..... and be postin some nice Tuturials on what comes from dem nice barrels, en why dem nice turrets turns in dem proper axis, en what should be applied under materials tabs under dx9 shaders en wat? en wer? to put en place dem en what to do next in order to make dem nice tank thread turn en how to make dem nice cockpit glasses look transparent ingame jus like dem nice helicopter rotors with dem nice tansparent rotor blus en de likes?...............

Nah...........

fohget about it i'm just being guilty conscious...

what with all the fuss i'm doin trying to find some ways to help the community have at least a good thing to talk about?

dem nice models en how to get the crap outa dem to work ingame so's we can know's why dem EALA guys gave us dem crap things to play en how to replace them?.................

That al the fuss about?........

Who are you trying to fool? "grab Viewport" and a "Screenshot" are exactly the same thing. Taking a snapshot of the viewport; if Max does or if you use the "Print Screen" button along with any image software to save an image, the result is exactly the same.

A "render" on the other hand is not the same. Ever try pressing F9? If it doesn't work, then you're bullshitting when you say you have 3D Studio Max 9. Would sound more like GMax to me.

IcySon55:

You have GMAX?

Nice of you having it, i'm just wondrin why you cant differentiate a dx9 rendering viewport from that of gmax just by mere looking at the details of the object shown................... i'm not goin to argue about those "shortcut keys" or whatever you prefer to take note of...... a render is a render but the posted image can never be rendered in all its "GLORIOUS DX9 BEAUTY" in GMAX my dear..................

and lets not make a fuss about all these and focus more on asking EALA for "dem darn sdk" so's we can start really "MAKIN A FUSS" bout anyhing else in C&C3 thereafter............... en put watever you want en dem game of yours de way you like it............ I a'int sellin dem models to you or anybody else, comprende?

Where in that sentence did I say I have GMax? Can you not read? I have 3D Studio Max 9. I know ABOUT GMax from using it in the past.

cavesyudepu wrote:

What detail? Those are viewport snapshots, they look like turd and always will.

cavesyudepu wrote:

F9 is the shortcut to have max create an actual render. The viewports are not a place to be taking images from to show off. An actual render would come out many times better than those viewport shots you are showing. Not argue? Why's that? You have no idea about actual rendering do you...?

cavesyudepu wrote:

Those are viewport renders, GMax would in fact be able to show you the exact same thing. GMax however is unable to create actual renders. The image you posted is nowhere near "GLORIOUS DX9 BEAUTY" because it's just a shitty viewport snapshot.

If you don't want to show us an actual render, I will assume that you do not in fact have 3D Studio Max 9. If you did, showing us a non-viewport render would be easy.

Looks like he took the Cybran Command class carrier and added the hell's fury riot guns, gauss cannons, and aircraft landing pads from the UEF Fatboy and of course the second one is the Summit. Both are just modified Supreme Commander models that don't look like they belong in Command and Conquer. Supcom is a great game and the models are especially interesting to look at but not much could easily be translated into CnC3 without major work on the model and the texture. The art just doesn't match.

And Monkeylords are teh pwn.

I can't really say to you "good job" or anything like that since those are just taken from the game and you just modified the textures

That's the average amount of times you needlessly capitalized and/or used quotations in each sentence.
