Once the demo was released, I've seen many topics in the EA forums, as well as on PPM and Revora forums of fans asking for buildable walls. I agree with most of them and walls is a clever way to slow down tank rushes, by creating choke points in game. While EALA still thinks about adding it or not, jonwil has been testing his bmri (.bin, .manifest, .imp, .relo) compiler. The first version of that didn't work here. After some progress, he managed to create a mod that makes walls buildable. I still hadn't got the time to play with that, since I've got a calculus test on monday and I haven't studied properly yet. But according to him, it was extensively tested and it seems to work well. Of course, as a mod, if you want to play it online, those who play with you must have that mod as well.

Jonwil's research breaks a new barrier for C&C3 modders out there, although EA tools will still be very helpful to export models with the full technology allowed by the game, as well as a good interface for the build tool, which jonwil's program still seems to lack.
