I get the feeling the Cusp is a Rattus voxel. He wouldn't do something silly like that Tarantula (nobody will ever use it as a voxel) and it's a bit odd, but odd in a good way. _________________

who is the only one here on PPM with a graphics card using the G80 core?
though i specifically named the zipfile in which i entered it "Leadstorm Tank" someone still thought G80GTX was more than just a work-name -_-'

I didn't necessarily mean it in a bad way. As much work as you may have put into the voxel and as nice as it may look, it'll never be used in a mod because it doesn't fit in with any other style. What tends to bug me with voxel competitions is that people try and do overblown voxels rather than something that is just right. If a person made a tank that fitted perfectly into RA2, had correct normals and didn't have anything inherently wrong with it then I'd give it higher marks than anything else. It's easy to make a voxel that looks nice, it's difficult to make one that blends in well with the game.
Just as some examples, here are some voxels that I think are good.

I will be refining mine a bit for the mod, likely change the color scheme, and a little more detail.

I made a cameo base image for my entry to this competition. Of course, it may not suit your needs. I left it not-in-cameo form mostly because other people may used this cameo for the unit under a different name.
On second look though, the sky is a tad bright and tranquil for Yuri...
