At 3:58 you'll hear EVA refer to the GDI dam mission, but with a much higher pitch.
I always had this gut feeling that EVA's pitch had been altered in post-processing. _________________

I like the current TS one, but maybe she should sound more.. feminine. _________________ "Reality is a lovely place, but I wouldn't want to live there." -Adam Young QUICK_EDIT

EVA is not a person, remember? It's supposed to be a voice generated by a computer which is used by professional soldiers, generals, commanders and doctors, so there's no reason why EVA would need to sound more feminine. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

Yet a computer's voice would have to be recorded from a human one, would it not? _________________

Unless it's speech synthesis, which strives to sound human and thus much effort shouldn't be taken to making it sound mechanical. The best example of faked "perfected" speech synthesis would be HAL from 2001. _________________
For your EVA attempt one I would slow it down slightly, it sounds a bit rushed but still nice.
Agreed, and make it a little lower pitched.
Good work, tho.
( maybe you could separate the voice from the fighting + music next time? )

No, but EVA has always been portrayed as female.

Well I suppose that the EVA in Red Alert was undergoing a sex change then, Kyler...? _________________ PPM's Reichstrollfuherer, 236th Trollenparties brigade. QUICK_EDIT
I watched a program on TV, about Apache attack helicopters and how they have female computer warning communications to the pilots, apparently psychologic tests show a male responds more to a female voice and due to the higher proportion of males in the military, they use a female voice. So you could probably guess in the C&C universe GDI did this for the EVA. Still as far as I can tell the male EVA's are there to make a cliched badguy approach i.e. CABAL, C&C3 Nod, Yuri although RA's EVA was used by the Allies and Soviets respectively but probably used to make it feel like a more WW2 styled approach. _________________
I like it Maybe its a bit much to ask, but could you do that to all of the EVA voices? For some reason I like the beta EVA one better than the released one _________________
