I like those concepts. I like them very much. One question - that Allied light tank looks a bit like a South African Rooikat AFV - will South Afrcians appear in the mod? _________________ This mod is dead!
Gangster's RA2 mod = the one we caught a glimpse off months ago with more RA1-like structure design? I never knew it really took off. _________________
All of these concepts are mostly units ive thought up that would suit the time period that this mod is based, also they have realistic and RA influences as well.
@ Geekspeek - The south Africans dont play a part in this mod and the light tank wasnt based of any of their units however but im glad you like them.
@ Gecko - Yes thats the mod. I have 10 pre concept buildings drawn and a further 20 building concepts in mind so there should be some buildings becoming shps soon. This mod has gon even deeper than even i had imagined.
There will be more concepts coming shortly. Also due to this merging BTS is no longer a mod but the ideas behind it have been heavily integrated into the story. QUICK_EDIT

gl dude, and yea, I plan on refurbishing my AOI remix, and it's totally good with me if you want to put it into this mod.

Yeah thanx for that Blackster, will do. Here is the pre finished base for the heavy tank from the concepts that i drew. the rest of the voxel like the turret and barrel needs more work.
we'll, ill see what strings i can pull. If theres enough people behind using units that are both realistic and also influenced by those of the RA universe when it may happen, even i dont know yet. Begause this is a merged mod ill have to talk with gangster about it. In my opinion i would like to use realistic units under generalised names such as the medium tank instead of M1A1 Abrams etc... I agree it would suit the storyline and it would also look better in the long run. Also i have quite an extensive stash of realistic units ready to use now thanks to both RELY_BiG_tank and stingerr, they just require heavy editing to suit the needs of the mod. QUICK_EDIT
Well recently i have been working on the mods vehicles, and have just finished the medium tank. The hummer and light tank are ready as well but they heed some final touchups.
Nice design, but i think the back should have wheels instead of treads. otherwise a nice design. Also i think the MG should be on the cabbin part, since no1 is in the storage part only in the cabbin. I can give many reference pics of trucks doing it that way in RL. QUICK_EDIT
Well the points you have considered i have already thought of. Firstly the gun is where it is because it will be kind of stupid if it was on the cab, though with real trucks thats where it would be but how will you shoot backwards if the hopper is in the way. The gun is remote so theres no need for a person to be behind it. Also i chose tracks because its designed to carry more weight as the russian harvister does compared to the allied one and it looks better. QUICK_EDIT

Dregan, its not Russa. It is Soviet Union/U.S.S.R. There are 13 other republics in the U.S.S.R., dispite what you learn in history classes. (most of them hate Russia right now anyways, like Ukraine and the Baltic Territories.)
If this mod is still Allies/Soviets, that is, if not, I apologise. The U.N. However does its vehicles in white with black lettering(though I can understand the use of Allied Blue.). If not using 'U.N. White', please, make them look a little more interesting, the Russian vehicles look very nice so far, compaired to them, though the barrels need to stand out more, make 'em black or somethin, other then that, I like them much more then the U.N. Yeah its Russia in this mod. Russia is formed after the ending of RA1 because the USSR was brocken up. Forming the 13 other countries.
Also i agree about the un units, however i dont think white will be a good colour ingame, it would just be too reflective. However i will tryit and see what comes out of it. QUICK_EDIT
Well sorry for the lack of news, it has been alittle busy in my life atm.
Dispite this i am working through my great list of units atm and fixing them up. I will only post close to finishing vxles at this stage.
On another note BTS is coming back from the dead, well merged anyway consuming Gangsters RA2 with it. Gangster is way too busy at the moment with things going on in his life and he has two other mods to think about. Not much room for the merged mod but thats ok.
Well my progress over the past two months has been quite good with many of the vxls to use decided, about half has been edited to suit the mod and i have my firts finished unit with a second on its way.
