You do realize that "EDWIN.exe" comes with the game right? If NOD doesn't have the game, that exe will be completely useless. If he does have the game, he already has the editor. If he couldn't figure that out, then...

NOD certainly is acting in that way, this thread will probably be crapped because modding veterans are supposed to be nice guys according to Banshee, but I vehemently oppose that, I won't take this kind of immature behaviour without wanting to disembowel something.

As soon as I saw RED ALERT MAP MAKER!!! the following thoughts and emotions rose. Irritation, anger and just why?. Why do you need capital letters and eleventy ones? It does not make people reply faster, it does not make people flock to your topic as if its a seriously big important issue, its just down right annoying and if I see any capitalized threads like this one in any forums I have power in I will simply rename them, or if its a user who keeps doing it then good bye post. There is no need for that its bloody irritating.
Secondly. The post itself. Instead of saying you are looking for an alternative map maker than the original one you magically assumed we would understand and know that already and when you are presented with the fact that we are not psychic and expected us to come up with *red alert map maker X* and that you already get an RA map editor with the game, you reply.
"I KNOW!!!!!!!! " and proceed to go off topic.
Thirdly. This is something I assume ( I could be completely wrong ) you could find with a search engine easily enough if you looked hard enough, if you have trouble finding it there is absolutely no problem making a thread for one. But why not simply post.

I am looking for a Red Alert Map Maker, however not the original one included with the game, I have looked around and was unable to find one. Help appreciated thanks.
Now that is out of the way. And I hope it can be learned from ( although I will probably get a face full of "ztype off Morpher, don't correct me" ). Now to post specific problems regarding users. Icyson from what I have seen hasn't exactly done anything wrong, he has presented the information needed for the post simple enough, whilst however a crack at Team Black was made. I don't want to take sides but I have more respect over Icyson than team black when Icyson is reffered to as childish, Icyson takes the time to post meaningful information and another great bonus is that he spells it nicely and correctly and the post is actually useful :O. I don't care if he isn't Mr Bright and Happy, no one is if you have had a taste of reality, so lets lay off " Icyson lighten up, be happy and merry and have a huge grin on your face replies ".
