because we all know how piss anoyin AI and other players are when they keep attackin and destroyin your harvesters then u run out of money, it just gets anoyin.

so can u make a flying vehicle that is made on the airpad?helipad and harvests tiberium?

That's a perfectly valid tactic... Anyway, harvesters need to be VehicleTypes, which rules out helipads and aircraft, and leaves you with only jumpjet vehicles, which suck.

unless one likes buggy and invulnerable harvesters.......which...he probably does

Since you want your harvesters to be immune, then using the jump jet loco would work well for you Cool

Actually, jumpjet harvesters have issues beyond just being invincible, they need quite a lot of micromanagement while docking.

Can't you simply turn "HarvesterImmune" into "yes"? Rules ini proclaims it makes the harvester immune to "normal" damage, whatever that means. Maybe only particle-based weapons can then hurt it?

turn harvesters immune is a bad idea, cuz the enemy's harvesters will also be immune ,and so you'll never be able to finish a game, as the only enemy units left on the map will be harvesters which can't be destroyed

I tried some different ways of flying-vehicle- harvesting, and they all sucked. it's kinda funny though having them zip up and down to harvest the tib, but they can only get a couple a bails, at best, then they just lock up. Unoading into a refinery? forget it.

It's a nice thought, but it aint gonna happen #Tongue

What are you talking about? I created an aircraft harvester back in the day when I modded TS. It flew like the ORCA Fighter, and it harvested tiberium without problems, it also unloaded without problems. I think it had to be built from a helipad though.

Can't remember exactly what I did.

Since sarpedon stated he only wants a harvester that couldnt be destroyed that easily by AI or Players - make a subterranean one. That should work also.
